DIY Aero-Hydro CFL grow

I'm in my 2nd grow and thinking about cloning. I have only 1 Blue Widow and 3 Columbian Gold from the attempt of germination of 8 separate strains. These 2 were the only ones that made it. Each grow-box has 6 3" grow-pods. Right now I have 8 empty pods total so I'm gonna clone 4 BW and 4 CG.

My question is once the cutting roots in the cloner, when can it go into my growbox.

I use Clonex with with great results. It's a thick Gel which really coats the stem. More importantly though is your method and attention to detail. Tons of good info in the propagation forum. Read up and you can't go wrong.

Picked up some Replicator, root plugs and got my cloner up and running. Thanks

See if your hydro store has free samples of anything. I asked and he game me some rooting gel/ bloom booster and a seaplex sample bottle. The time before that I asked and got plant suscess tablets.

I just found out you should not clone from feminized plants, what's that about? Something about the clone will turn Herme in the 4th week or so..

34 days

34 days

Well it's been 34 days and my gals are looking and doing great. The Blue Widow foliage is much darker than the Columbian Gold. I could easly put them in flowering, but I plan to veg up to the end of the 5th week, pull a dozen clones and then put the 3 C.G. and B.W. into flowering.

Picked up a few extra clamp-on fixtures and six 26 watt, 2700k, 1850 lumen CFLs to go w/my eight 105watt, 2700k, 5000 lumen CFLs. With these 14 CFLs combined with a few 23watt, 6500k, 1800 lumens to add some flavor to the spectrum. That will give me over 1000+watts, 70,000+ lumens for my 4ft x 4ft x 9ft grow closet. So thats the plan for the next week, heres my 2nd grow in progress

grow-box #1 and Columbian Gold #1, day 34

Columbian Gold #3 and my single Blue Widow, day 34.
She has darker foliage than the Gold

Columbian Gold #2, day 34. They are doing awesome. Can't wait to take 10-12 clones from the Gold and Blue Widow

later:wave:

Were your Colombian Gold from World of Seeds?

I just finished an RDWC grow that went 14 weeks into flower, and look as if they could have used a bit more time, as buds on the plants I tried to re-veg started developing black leaves (color in, not on the leaf) and even more trichomes.

This spring/summer has been incredibly damp though and 2 of my top colas had small spots of mold. Broke everything else down, photographed samples and found nothing more.

For me, a 10 week strain that goes 14 or more weeks and is sensitive to damp weather, makes it something that I may try again, but not for a while.

My grow area was reasonably ventilated and had dehumidifiers going 24/7. To say I was shocked and disappointed is an understatement. Thankfully the plants had a decent yield and initial samples are quite tasty and potent.

Hey stagetek, yeah I got the CG from World of Seeds, they claim it's a true landrace but I'm not so sure... I let my regrow flwer for 11 weeks, trichomes were at 70% cloudy w/+40% amber... It was even better in quality than the 1st grow, it has more knockdown power or more of a couchlock effect...

Also when I started the regrow I too got some black leaves, but I had cut away after they took off again... no mold to speak of..

Looking at your photos, looks really awesome, did you get your seeds from WoS as well? After my harvest of the regrow I decide to wait until Sept. for my next grow, to damn hot this summer for a summer grow imo... thanks for the input, your grow looks awesome...
