why are you taking them at cloudy trics ?? some of mine got taken early due to mould and they are mostly cloudy and it gives u a buzz like but you can probably smoke one every 30mins :\ what can i do with it? bubble hash? wont it still be weak? should i hash a amber triced plant and mix it in to make it stronger ?
i left others to go amber and slowly they are doing it, maybe 15% amber as of today and only now is any potency starting to come through.

A dustbin bag full of moldy bits later = harrys ice hash!
tried to hash too much in one go, ive found if you have to do a big batch at once fill up a dustbin with hash bits, lots ice and not too much water. After a good one hour mixing with a broom handle lol you have a nice green soup, filter off solids, let settle, siphon, when you hit the bottom litre (or so) of the settled resin, now filter through the finer bubble bags. This method saves alot of water going through the finer bags and pushing through a big % of smaller resin heads, which you get alot of outdoors.
someone mentioned using hardly any water and crushing the ice like a mister slushy... lots of ice surface area meeting resin without water washing away all the natual oils and terpenes, problem leaving resin sitting in water is you lose alot of the aromatics.
ive tried drying on cardboard but the resin stuck to it and ended up puffing slithers of the stuff lol.... slap it on an old plate and scrape it off with wall scraper

This big plant was the last Biddy standing 2 other big ones were more prone to rot so they were cut a week ago . I have 11 plants still out cloudy triches & being watched very carefully .

I´ve found a couple of tiny bits of bud rot, taken out in the spot, on my Norfookin Goods gal and after reading&hearing that today was the last sunny day of the year i´m tempted to chop her down
In other hand i know that another couple of weeks would do wonders to this babe (the trics are now 50% clear, 40% milky and 10% amber). If the weather permits and i manage to keep the bud rot away of course
Does any of you guys grown the NG in the past? How did she cope with the frost&icy weather?
Any input is apreciated

yup i did the same i had mould starting early sept right till oct, too much rain and lost 2/3 maybe more of leb27. i took what wasnt mouldy as all of it wud have been gone in a week or so. and its mostly cloudy trics, maybe 1% amber lol :\ you smoke it and you feel something but its not very strong.
im just waiting on some tasgg3dp to amber up more as its not got enough stone to it yet.

Didnt chopped my NG because i was expecting some educated advice from some other growers so today my backgarden was raided and everything lostsometimes i feel like shit!
I hate feeling bad things but today i could and probably would put the bastards in intensive care. Thx the green gods that i´ve been working through the night because i don´t know what would happen if i found the guys in action. I wouldn´t call the cops that´s for sure.

To make things even worst i suspect of someone that i trust or at least used to...and there goes my self-suficient goal down the drain.
And last Friday my house back in Portugal got also a unexpected visit and i´ve lost 2 TV sets, dishwasher, laptop, dvd reader and a water pump. What a bastard luck i´m having in the last couple of years.
Oh well the show must go onand the eventually i will runt out of bad luck. Can´t get bad hands forever...or can i?

This year i played totally clean and the results where disgracefull and i´m sure that there is a lesson to me to be learned from this
Same games are too devious to have rules&morals attached to them...is this a possible lesson?

my years been no better m8 , mixed results is an understatment
some would say it's karma getting me back ( especially those closest to me )
others would say its just a run of bad luck.

Paulo sorry to hear the bad news . Garden security can be upped a bit with a Wireless PIR sensor . Got one myself this year & it`s been set so foxes & deer walk under but a human will be detected & a alarm sounds off in the house . Slept a lot better this year i can tell you plus it gives plenty of warning to let the dog loose & pick up certain tools to meet the S**** with .
24hrs rain & suprisingly no mould today , more wet forecast this week so it`s going to the wire with the cut .

Potential Rippers
Only 4hrs ago i posted about my alarm & just b4 midnight while i was sat down quite happily watching CSI it went off ! Funnily enough the dog never followed me but went in the opposite direction , got round my plot very quietly only to just hear a body moving through the vegetation a fair distance away & the other side of my ground the dog started barking up as she`d heard someone outside the grounds , 5mins this went on then i heard a couple of car doors shut . The shites that visited me had someone waiting in a car & off they went . My guess is there was more than one coz i reckon they spotted the red LED on the sensor & fooked off as fast as they can ( as good as these alarms are the LED really shows in darkness ) once the sensor picks them up . They never got to the plants . Bastards had cut through the boundry fence , amateur job style . It`s possible the shites had smelt them as minimes AKWWxDurban is pretty pokey . Certain measures have now been taken , sensor repositioned & some very nasty suprises left , wether they think better of coming again i don`t know but if they do their gonna leave claret & DNA behind & go home with some pretty bad scarring . Sorted fence out so it`s just a waiting game .
I could tell you about some trouble i had a few yr back & how it was sorted but i`d have all the pussys moaning at me about poor rippers rights , still at least treatment is free on the NHS so there is some compensation for getting sussed & torn to peices in pursuit of ill gotten gains .

Still it seems some lessons have been learnt... and lessons for everyone to learn... Tell no one that you are growing!!! I run a very tight op and even some of my closest friends dont know i grow. They just think i have a wicked connection. Its tough thinking your friends may rip you but needs must and lets be honest you could end up in a lot of trouble if caught. Is it worth it??
Hey MJB i remember what happened last time you got ripped hehehe... fuckers deserve whatever they get!! Hope you can get through this current grow without anymore trouble... you've got some really nice plants this season
Tonto- I did grow Mandala#1 last year and didn't really think much of it... finished early oct but the smoke wasn't great. Still got 4 beans left and may do them again as i may have been unlucky.
WAM- The smoke of all the Autos was a really nice standard... Had loads of nice comments and for outdoor bud it was some of the best i've had. The only thing letting it down was the taste/smell. All plants apart from one still smell and taste of LR which imo isn't great. The high was fine tho and a 7/10.

All my problems were due to poor planing&preparation but i couldn´t do any better. After all it was my 1st outdoor season But it was in all senses a great learning experience and no major harm come from it so it´s all good in the end.
