Biggest Seeds Ever & Fat Bastard ?

I cant find the site that used to sell the fat bastard. the most extreme indica growth i've ever seen.
i'm trying to hunt some down.

i'm looking for HUGE seeded varieties. doesn't matter if its hemp, i need acorn sized seeds :ying:

fat bastard comes to mind, but cant find it ..... if you've grown it or know where its at, please share your experience!

any help would be most appreciated.... :thank you:

Biggest Seeds ive ever seen were of Hawaian origin, like fookin water melons, well lets just say they were V-Large for Mj seed. Maybe related maybe not, just thought id mention the Monster Hawaian Beans i once saw.

Nepalese White Mountain goes into top 3 I've seen, I think it's still available.

Thailand/China area too but harder to find.

cool thanks for the responses guys.

currently my biggest seeds are Mighty Freeze x Mystery HFH, i'll try to get some pics with a ruler.

if you guys have a suggestion , please try to referance it against something, put it to scale so to speak? i mean measurements would be cool but not very practical.
we need some way to compare seed sizes...

maybe i should start a "find the biggest seeds" contest, and give the winners some heady genetics? who would be interested?
Actually..... is that agains the rules? if it is, i'm sorry mods, not tryin to rock the boat, just brain storming...

the rightmost is from northern laos, biggest/roundest seeds in the lot, the germination rate has been very poor so I haven't tried popping many seeds, I might have to try soon before they expire, they're not a drug type cultivar though, not hemp either.

the next one from the right is a lebanese I think, then the malawi gold and colombian black, both look very similar, the elongated and pale seeds.

then comes the nepalese and a northern afghan indica

the smaller seeds on the left are a pakistan indica, a colombian red, a pure haze and something else that escapes me at the moment.

the biggest seeds I've seen are maple leaf indica and Pukeberry crosses. the pUke takes the cake for making huge seeds, they look like walnuts.... 2x the size of other big seeds

Burning fire, that s a fire list of gentics right there, big ups

Sam the Skunkman has 2 threads about big and small seeds. The biggest are from Hunnan, China, and the smallest are from a dry hot place, Lebanon or Egypt. I am very interested in seed size myself, and have been selecting for big seeds for 7 years now. I have some good sized seeds, but not nearly as big as the Hunnans. The best way to measure size is by gram weight, also. (how many seeds per gram). Show us your big seeds!

Sweet Tooth has some very big seeds as does Blue Satellite 2.2 also.

Plenty of bright full spectrum light and high NPK during flowering & seed growth and NOT flushing a seed plant during the finish makes for much bigger beans. Seeds need alot of nitrogen for proper development it is not the same as growing seedless buds so your nutes should be more like a heavy veg formula. Keep in mind though that thicker heavier seed shells can make germination more difficult. :canabis:

The UKhem plants that I'm growing came from some of the largest seeds I've seen. They're available at Seed Boutique from Connoisseur Genetics.

Thanks SOTF420 and BurningFire!! Thats what I was wondering/thinking, if nutes could come into play in relation to seed size. And also about what cultivar traits they could be from/exhibit.

Strains with the biggest fattest calyx's when grown seedless will normally grow very large seeds that are relative to the calyx size of the flower. Makes sense right? :)

Sure does :tiphat:

The cultivars part of the discussion really intrigues me, cause I have heard, read, etc. here and there about the modern seeds losing certain traits over time through breeding.

I must ask, why does big seeds matter? Unless you are breeding hemp for the birdseed or cooking oil industries or any other food reason, why would you care about big seeds?

That being said, I find this thread cool for some odd reason, I can't explain it but I like it! If big seeds are your thing, hey great more power to you! I saw indica seeds that are huge, I will have to check into this more. I've also seen tiny seeds, and those are more impressive to me. Especially considering they are usually sativas, which in their native conditions grows into trees. That the biggest plants come from the smallest seeds amazes me! Smaller seeds ship easier (can be put into smaller containers), you can fit more seeds into a given volume of container, which could also come in handy. ON the other hand, what are the advantages of big seeds unless your vision isn't great and you can't see the little ones?
Anyway, I can't explain why, but great thread! :D

i got some bugglegumxchemsour seeds that are fucking huge....really fat light brown with dark brown stripes...they look really plump have better bag appeal than those midget flat brown seeds. super fast germ too they exploded out of the shells. i grew them from regular looking seeds, then hit a male with a female and these things are popping out like coconuts..

although i got some seeds from BOG that were small, flat brown, i was worried they wouldnt germ. but shit those things exploded and got 5/5...they were popped within 24 hours and after days already poking through the surface a good inch. so guess it doesnt really matter what they look like...
