I think they are about the same. T5's are pretty standardized. I have a couple of Sunleaves Pioneer VIII's and they are fine, though I've never cared for the thin wires they hang by.

sun systems 4 bulb.. very nice.. $120..

but Home Depot makes a single t5 fixture w 3300K bulb for under $20.... and Lowes makes (special order) a 2 bulb, 2ballast, fixture with 2 3300L bulbs for about $40.. (2 ballast can run on only 1 bulb if one wants...

Just a couple alternatives.. I have them.. both and they work
as well as pre mades.. premades are much more convienent.

The first grow light I bought a little over year ago was a Sunleaves Pioneer IV 8 bulb and it is awesome for veg growth. It generates more overall heat than I expected but not so much that it is hard to deal with. Replacement bulbs can be a little spendy unless you can buy in bulk.

I use a Sun blaze 8 lamp, for both veg and flower. Does a great job.
Proofs in the pics, yeah I grow in the box in the back ground.

Multi purpose... HA. cheap and effective. The 4' T5s arent
much more expensive..
