Paulo-the Shooting Powder doesn't affect the taste IMO-i've not noticed anything
Tonto-Ripen doesn't either IMO-i have been using it on indoor plants for years and wouldn't grow without it now

Had our first hard frost last night (midlands), think most of what I had left outdoors was killed

Looks nice, but its the wrong kinda frost!!

Straight in the bubble bucket , it`s already frozen
The dog woke me up 4.30 this morn to go out & all the cars one side of my property had frozen rain on them , luckily my plot is a bit more frost proof . Forecast all this week is COLDER .

Hi guys, wicked pics, makes me wanna smoke a fat one. I have been using ripen for about a year now and i love it. Always flush for a week after though but i have smoked buds with no flush after using ripen and they were fine. I dont feed my plants heavily though so maybe why. SHame i cant see any of the previous pages, dont get a chance top check here as much as i would like.

Seriously if you have a garden and can build a raised bed then this has to be the easiest way to get some bud. All done in August!!

Had my drying room strung with wires across the room (10ft) fixed to batons screwed to the walls . All the plants were hung from right to left across the room & the AK`s took up the entire first 2 wires , then i started hanging the other plants . AAH F1 & 2 AKWW Biddy e & Biddy sis , Dutch Drag . That took nearly 3 more wires , each plant on these 3 wires had a label hung on with the last branch so i could tell exactly what was there when it came to the storage jars . Well i cut manicured & hung 29 plants leaving 13 to carry on flowering , hung the last branch BLOODY BEAUTIFULL , had a cuppa then came back in & hung the label next to the last branch when the f******g baton pulled off the wall & the lot went down on the floor , bastardshitfookinglabels nearly dark in there & by the time i`d picked up all the branches wrapped up in wire i`d got no clue as to what they were apart from some branches with a label on them

she is nowhere near ready, not even worth a early harvest. she bounced back from her frosting but there is fuck all chance the weather will give her enough time to fatten up. but you have given me a good idea i got 2 bin bags of moldy bud which is to much to fit in the freezer before hash making, but if i leave it out over night in a couple of weeks it will freeze it good and proper

without freezing it you will probably end up with 2 bags of complete shite & have nothing left to bubble . Im starting my bubble runs this weekend , that`ll keep the missus happy . The smell of the AK`s while hanging cutting etc give her a real bad headache .
Pissed down with rain for 4hrs+ & the forecast is frost probably early hours , my lovely little 4 1/2ft sativa F2 is in the g-house but the rest of the plants are gonna be watched very carefully , i know i`m gonna get a lot more mould so plenty more bubble but i`m waiting for the seeded plants to mature , i hope i get the seeds b4 the plants shagged .

Great thread,the trials,and tribulations of a uk growerwhat a long,and trying year!...At last it's nearly over,and i thought it was way time,to update on the HFH esben strains,and others,so here go's....

first up Arne's hash plant(HFH)very happy with these,dripping with trichs,and sticky icky!!!!.....first to finish was on the 7th october,then the more sativa looking pheno's were pulled on the
13th oct....

frisian dew....first ones chopped 3rd october,last 19 oct....again very happy with these,lots of frosty buds...but several pheno's,so not very stabilized......the purple/pink phenos seem to finish later than the green pheno's,(for me anyway)very sticky resin bombs,and the champ when it comes to trimming(very little leaf)

Sorted a few of my mixed branches , found the Biddy Early as they were the longest branches around 3 1/2 - 4ft . I mentioned an idea i had about drying the crop . Been usinging it for 4 day now & it seems to be working . I got under all my branches & behind them to see how much air from the ossilating fan on speed 3 was running over them . I also got behind all the hanging branches & realised that not all of them had air blowing across them .
I went to a local shop & bought a 18in floor standing/wall mounted fan with a slim fan cage that can be swivelled 90*& tried out an idea running round my head . I placed it on the floor about 4ft from the plants & angled the fan cage 45* & aimed the air flow on the ceiling about 2ft from the first row of plants & after a bit of trial & error got the air flow rolling down the branches from the ceiling/back wall/side walls , all the branches are now in the air flow & moving lightly & showing good signs of drying .
Ground frost last 2 nights but the plants seem ok so far , i think it`s because the frost has`nt lifted to high from the ground & most of the plants branches are above that height . I may be lucky yet as a couple out there are turning cloudy .
