Current most Budrot resistant / fast strain ?

Yo gang,

Im doing some pre-planing & still have yet to find the right strain for outdoor projects compatible with my area, mild temp with heavy morning dews.

Ive tryed about 10 various strains over the last 3 seasons & they have all been attacked midway through flower by the fungus bud rot (Botrytis cinerea - aka: mold) causing early harvests & trimming, drying hell.

The various prevention methods help but there has to be something bred for wet tropical swampy areas ?

Something with an open structure that finishes under 60 days ?

Thanks Alot @ 41 Lat

I have been looking at A.M.S (anti mould strain) by greenhouse seeds. I have never grown it before but the feminized seeds are very cheap and I have heard good reviews so I plan on buyin em. They claim it is VERY resistant and it finishes by the first of october. Anyone grown A.M.S?

Hollands hope is renowned for its mold and disease resistance outdoor. Not going to be like puffing on some chemdog as far as potency goes tho.

My first year of growing AMS and it is indeed an anti-mould strain.......Because it never finishes fu**ing flowering outdoors:blowbubbles: Finishes by 1'st of october?Mine are halfway through flowering at 50-51 degrees north, they wont finish this side of Halloween

"They" deserve prosecuting under the trades descriptions act because of "Their" fraudulent claims, scrap the AMS and get some Female Seeds Nl Purple Maroc or some Dutch Passion Frisian Dew :tiphat:I have cropped 10-12 kilos this season with the majority coming from those two strains plus Easy Sativa(female seeds Nl also).

Casey Jones, trainwreck, or anyother trainwreck hybrids. My casey Jones is mold resistant. shes been tested under extreme conditions and has never been touched. Finishes oct. 1 -oct15. at 41 N lat. This may not be early enough for you, but u gotta make sacrifices..

Thanks alot guys, got some Satori going inside now. That would be nice to find a fast keeper to mum out for the spring.

Satori taken a bit early seems like a fine idea for some upie stuff.

Some tough Alaska stuff sounds like another fine idea also, conditions up there have got to be harsh.

I did run Hollands Hope outside 2 years back & it did much better than anything else ive tried. It had a nice open structure for inspecting & spraying (wonderful smell) but it wasn't totally immune.

Dude sent me a PM on this:

Ata Tundra

This f1 hybrid is one of the most interesting in our seed range. It is a cross of two pure lines coming from different geographic regions not very well-known in the cannabis world.

One parent comes from Alaska, home of the famous Matanuska Thunderfuck. This line is pure indica and shows good resistance to frost thanks to its origin.

The other parent comes from Kazakhstan, a wide region that extends from north Afghanistan between Uzbekistan and Russia, neighbouring China in the east. This parent is similar to the Afghani Kush, with a lemony smell typical of the Citral of Pakistan.

Growing Ata Tundra you can see many of the characteristics of both these parent plants.

Our hybrid is 100% indica. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor cultivation. It is our quickest flowering strain; finishing in around 45 days or outdoors towards the end of September. Its optimum THC level is around 20%.

It produces large, lemon scented compact buds. The hardiness of this plant coupled with its early maturation and ease of growth make it perfect for guerrilla cultivation techniques.

Genetics: Tundra x Kazakhstani
Variety: Pure Indica
Type: f1 Hybrid
Harvest Date: End of September
Flowering Period: 6 weeks
THC Content: 19%
Characteristics: Quick flowerer, good in cold climates.

Im hoping to try 3 new types, sure would be awesome to find the right one.

Thanks for the heads up buddy mate, I was just about to place an order but I can't grow anything that takes that long to finish, I like everything to be out by the first week of october.

Try some danish strains. Danish passion, Danish Gold, Erdbeer. All early and pretty mold resistant.

Also some Canadien strains to look at, Guerrila gold #3, Freezeland crosses, GG3 x C99, Mighty Durban.

You cant go wrong with strains that bred for the cold wet weather of Canada, and other northern latitudes.

If you are at a lower latitude than 40 i would say to just go with more of the commercial seed strains that are mentioned in this strain (Not a fan of large seed companies) i think the smaller seed companies are where its at.

I would give them another try - are there any soild breeders from Switzerland ?

Mr. Nice maybe ?

'Swisscheese'(Niv) didnt mold, nor did 'Sweet Purple'(Para'd), got alot of rain on them but didnt turn a bit so i was well happy(Untill!;() but i put them out a little late, a month earlier & it'd been great. Rippers got most of my crop & i was left to pick through the scraps bar a couple which they didnt find. anyone know how the Banghi Haze(ACE) does out in the UK?

Going to second the recomendations for Guerilla Gold, Sweet Purple, C-99 and add Early Riser, Purple#1. All of these have been Mold free though the C99 didn't finish on time at 45 degrees so it's cross with GG is a better choice at my lattitude.

Sure would like to find a quick& resistant pineapple Cindy that liked my area - 41 lat.

Im hoping to find 3 that there #1 best trait is anti-mold, 3 summers in a row ive had problems, major kick in the nutZ.
