when is a cut in a RR ready, can you plant as soon as you see the roots? or should you wait till more are coming out?
1st time user, these things are convient

I split mine down the middle so i can see roots as they first appear. I dont know if I would recommend doing this, I am just super impatient.
I also found that they work better if they're not sopping wet.

I usually wait until there are at least 4-5 seperate roots poking out the sides to transplant.
Also.. not sure how many you have, but waiting until all your clones root, and then transplanting, helps them grow more evenly in veg. That way you don't have plants way ahead of others when you're ready to flower.

I like Irie Lion, sometimes split the RR's from the top to see how well they are rooting, but before i even use the RR;s, I cutr them in half, It works just as good, and with a half, you see roots even faster, plus its way cheaper..., but i usually dont plant as soon as i see roots, I wait a day or 2 untill they are more full, doesn't take long, just dont keep the RR's to wet, straight out the bag they are usually perfect, maybe a drop or 2 of water, literally a couple drops....and they work great, its all I use, for clones and seeds....main thing to remember is to keep them moist, not wet.

Yeah I like to wait until multiple roots are sticking out. Maybe 4-5 at the minimum.

Lately though I have been spraying them with Rhizotonic when they have just a few roots showing. By the next day they are exploding with roots.

Good luck on your grow!

As soon as you see roots is a good time. I even transplant when i see rootbumps on the stem and have no problems. When your roots emerge too far is when youll see problems,,, roots drying out, root damage. So first emergence of roots is as good of a time as any. And like others, I strongly believe cutting the RR in half for cuttings is the way to go.
