Rippers came into my yard and yanked my only two plants

God damn it to fucking hell!!! I just went home to water my two grape stomper outdoor girls, and they are both GONE. Ripped out of the fucking ground. Someone came right into my goddamn backyard and robbed me. GRRRR!!! They were gorgeous girls, 5 feet tall and 5' wide, about 3 weeks from being done. I found one branch outside my ten foot fence, but no trails through the pasture.

Here's my last pics from about 2 months ago, they were so healthy and happy, and some lowlife dirtbag came and took them. I wonder if my neighbor across the street took them, he's the only one who can see our comings and goings, and only one who could even see the bamboo fence I put up to hide them:



I am so pissed and sad. How dare anyone come into my yard uninvited?

Next year I'm putting two plants in the exact same spot, but with booby traps and video cameras. I WILL catch them, and out where I live nobody will call the cops.

Dude that F'ing blows, I had some scumbags coming into the yard next door ( the house was for sale). I started sleeping out in the yard to catch them. Luckily my new neighbors are cool, they are patients as well.

But yeah, rippers blow. Ive been using a slew of theft prevention techniques in the garden.
A little creativity goes a long way. Oh and please no violence, remember karma can be a bitch.

Thanks guys, I just wanted to commiserate. If I had a couple dozen plants and two were gone that would be one things, but this is just crazy. There aren't even any sidewalks out here, or a shoulder to park on. Someone must have stopped their car in the road, jumped my 9 foot fence, stole two huge plants, walked 300 feet across the pasture (carrying or dragging my babies), and stuffed two monsters inside the car, in broad daylight? This just doesn't add up. My neighbors are all at least 600 feet from my house, only one with some young guys.

you can't outright assume your neighbors (to a point of acting upon anything) but you can see how they react.

i'd be knocking on their door asking if they'd seen my dog, yah, i'm the guy that lives just across the pasture, Fido was in the backyard and he must have gotten over the fence, etc, etc, etc.

unless they're professional bullshitters, their eyes are going to tell you if it's them. if you're looking into two saucer plates as soon as the door opens, you know who did it. if not, they think you lost your dog - not out anything, or caused any odd neighborhood vibes.

that kind of reminds me of what happened to my buddy, he lives on a farm with at least 1000ft between neighbors, and everyone know everyone....

anyways, someone went in his barn and stole his atv, nothing else, and didnt even check the other 2 barns....

long story short my buddy said "good for them, i couldnt even get it working", they stole his atv that would not start and was on the way to the scrap yard....

all this to say some ppl will go to great lengths to steal ....regardless of what it is and from who...


i dont think it was your neighbor, i think it was either someone you know, that followed you in hopes of getting a bigger hit, but instead got only 2 plants....i would check your friends and ppl you know....

for this reason over the years i have reduced the number of friends that i have, i now have 4 friends that i trust, everyone else is just ppl i know/know of....

It could have been cops they love to just rip plants, hell they could have come down in a chopper CAMP is fucking everywhere this is what they do just land and rip. Sorry to hear some rippers ripped out your plants but thank god they didn't rip out your sunflower plants or you wouldn't be able to eat the sunflower seeds.

Next time set large mouse traps around your plants and when you see some low down vato's with a few toes missing you know who the ripper is and ask to trade his toes for your plants.
