Greetings fellow potheads!
My name is Rabbi Reefer, I'm 50 years old, living in the Northeast and I can remember when I could buy a 1/4 pound for $100.
An ounce would set you back $40 and hash/hash oil was $5 a gram. Wanna really freakout!? Gasoline was only .36 cents a gallon! (FULL SERVE!)

I recently witnessed two attempts to grow with a 120 LED panel from Fleabay that failed miserably. I've seen some proof that high-end LED setups can produce a decent crop, but I was never happier than when my friend trashed his LED panel and installed his 600 watt digital HPS. He wasted a ton of time & money, and I'm glad he finally realized it.

I've been lurking for quite a bit and I've enjoyed many threads here on the forums. There is a lot of good information on here for growers and enthusiasts of all types.

I've wanted to participate in chat and post a video but I'm told that I lack permission, wtf!? Oh well, I guess I have to prove that I'm not some kind of narc or something before I'm allowed to participate...that's life.

I should mention the U.S Bong image.... The guys who started U.S. bongs went to a rival high school. I believe they were the 1st major players in the Plexiglas bong market. The "factory" was in the same industrial complex as my dad's office/warehouse. They had a showroom with a bong so big, you had to sit in it.

Thanks 2 everyone for making me feel welcome. As for gas, I can remember it as low as 30 cents a gallon in the early 60's.

....oh well half a century gone, and maybe, just maybe if we are terrifically lucky another 50 to go...

Wow...I haven't heard of them in a long, long time!!
I had a friend that I was in the Navy with that worked for US Bongs-- He was from NY-- He use to laugh, because his Navy paperwork that asked for prior work experience, he put "Bong Maker"-- (Same age as you...)
