What's new

My beginning,watercooled,2 400 and 2 600w digital,grow

I'm curious does this winch launch line disconnect from the glider and come falling to the ground, and if so, is there a small parachute to guide it down. i'd imagine it would be some form of heavy gauge cable?

I'm trying not to hijack this thread. Honest! :)

Yes Toke, there is a yellow handle in the cockpit to release the cable. If that fails, or you hang on too long the mechanism will "back release" as you overfly the winch. If all else fails, the winch driver has a huge pair of wire cutters...
The cable can be 1/4" steel or a non-stretchy nylon rope with a breaking strain of around 4000kg.
And there is a small parachute so the cable can be reeled in safely under tension ready to be deployed for the next launch.
Tangles do, however, happen - and they're not much fun to sort out!

did some transplanting

did some transplanting

wow this stuff is some work
got most of my himilayan gold and ssh transplanted into one gallon grow bags. they seem to work real well. put some hydrotron on the bottom for drainage. used 1 part FFOF, 1 part coco, 1 part perilite, and some happy frog ferts. they all seem to be well. took a pic of the awsome square pots im gonna use for my moms. they look like they have great air movement on bottom(their the 2 white square ones) kinda pricey at 5 bucks a pop. co2 holding at 1300-1500. temps hanging at about 78 under lights in canopy. dehuy set at 45% and holding. water chiller set at 57. hopeing to see some buds popiung out soon. the couple older plants budding have been thru hell. looks like ill get something off them. just harvested by best 2 small ones that i think were the hg ive got. it should be some tasty smoke which ill be ready for. ive been at this for close to 5 6 months and nothing much to speak of. my aeroponic go was a disaster. i thought about flying helis for a living at one point. i love helicopters. didnt whant to join the military for it though, and from what i learned was the best route to really get flying. sounds like good times fo sho.
im bummed, its saying i cant upload anymore pics
ive exceeded my quota

thats pretty cheezy i had to delete my pics to add some. ahhwell

That was my nicest heli, just about the whole thing JR. It's the vibe 90 SG. Running the high volt 8717s on cyclic. The gyro was JR as well. Had the ys 91 st for engine. Blew the trex 700 out of the water on quality. Had 2 of the trex 700s
You fly?

Sounds real nice, yeah I fly planes mostly, just getting into the helis. Going to put together a 450 pro running on 6s for some fun. Keep the grow pics coming there looking beautiful.

The 450 pro is rock solid. It's got the torque tube tail which is really nice. It's gonna strip out when you crash though, the belt drive tail is less maintenance.
Godd luck going inverted, those things fly upside down really well

Happy flying
Happy growing
