Red's Ebb Flow

Hello Hydro community,

Been a while since touch the water, but now its time for me to get wet i love the simplicity of ebb flow but i hate using the hoods, well i do not take care of these girls 100 % at the time so i have to make it easier for the one who does

For me its all about the barebulb but some could not handle it brightness and the danger being around an open bulb .. so the hoods go up ..

Little info :

- Room 12 - 15
- Portable AC ( because someone didnt listen to me and went with a portable instead of a window Unit , it cost more to run and it is not as efficient )
- two of 4x4 table ( but more like 4.5 x4.5)
- one 2x4 table
- 3 hoods
- 3k hps bulb
- can 100 + 800 cfm fan


Strains running
- Blue dream
- C99 ( 1 )
- Fire Og ( 1 )
- Diablo ( 1 )
- G13 A - (8)
- Lemon Kush ( unknown )



Nutes:

Simple 3 part GH
Maybe Cal mag here and there
Liquid kool bloom will be use at the 6 weeks
powder kool bloom will be use at 7 weeks
Rez get new water top off everyday, and change every 2 weeks,
i like to keep it as simple as possible, the less additive the better

Plants were veg for 2 weeks, last table were veg with a MH and also had the MH on for the first 2 weeks of flower to reduce stretching

2nd table hold half blue dream and half G13, used a 1k HPS on these gals so they can catch up but they're still too short

3rd table hold all lemon kush and a diablo, had to use a 600 to reduce stretch and they still go crazy.

Nice and clean,easy to maintain setup. I like it. I am about to go barebulb though and ditch some old hoods. planning on wearing good shades and a hat at all times in the room . Am thinking about just making a lil cage with chicken wire around the bulb. to protect me from burns.

Ladies are now hitting the 4th coming on the 5th and soon will be chop, this is the 2nd run in this room. First run were horrible but this round is looking much much better

Full speed is right, i have no more time so i have to start every thing at once or ill be homeless soon if these ladies go bad .

i got the vert up running, once finish i will evaluate things and see if i can run 2 vert with dirt instead of 1 heheeh i feel the hood is taking a lot of buds away from me

Hi Jm,

I have to defoil or i will be running in to problems, after the 2 week stretchs there were millions of leafs under the canopy, it was very hard for air to circulate, given this room is (almost ) sealed. Everytime thing get cluster either mildew or something bad appears, i know this should not happen but the gardener is still new and still struggle with the bacteria and cleaniless. ...


After the defoil i could see most of the bud were shaded gotten a bit bigger because of the light ? ive been doing this for 3 or 4 run already and not a problem yet, but i do defoil them in veg as well, once they hit 12 in all fan leaves are gone, then move to flower, after 2 weeks of stretchs all fan leaves are gone, and once more time near the end cycle.

just to add, i also notice the notes were much tighter when defoil and they grow a bit quicker also ...
