Super stadium, Vertical Hydro grow

Hello IC!!

I got this idea from the super closet big buddah box.

So I'm not claiming this as my idea. The reason I'm posting this is the B.B.B. is around 5000 dollars i am building mine for around 600..

5 G's was to rich for my blood .

This is my prototype if it goes well i am building a 6x6 version for now it is a 4x4 .

All the Pieces to create this were purchased at Home DePOT other then the Ebb and Flow fittings, which i got at the local hydro store.

First off i took 8 foot 5 inch PVc fence posts and cut them into 4 ft sections.



Next using a 4.5 inch hole saw i cut out locations for each net pot .




This will all be feed by Ebb and flow Fittings ..





And here they are



Well thats all the photos for now im taking a break and letting the drills charge so ill have more construction photos up tomorrow ..

Ill have the frame built and plumed by tomorrow .. Check back for the discount B.B.B.

Looks good dude, can't wait. Are you going to angle the levels in so plants are directed to the light? Otherwise won't you need some rotation system?

Nice start to things, Jack. I've been having similar thoughts about going hydro, the human watering can line is one I can relate to. And the bump in yields doesn't hurt.

While looking at the manufactures website I got a laugh out of this sentence:

This left me wondering...Where's the NFT?

Yea, some of their claims are questionable at best but i am copying the B.B.B. as best i can.

The NFT could be just the fact that the water flows fast throughout the system, and they call that NFT . I dunno ..

The frame is complete.. I'm going to be busy for a few days so progress is a little slower then i would like but by this weekend water will be flowing. For sure!!

My plan tonight is to Glue all the caps on so they can set for a while before i try filling them...

This is a little bit of a learning process while im constructing, having never used this type of growing tech before.
Sitting back and in visioning this vert setup, running is making me excited for the next one a 6x6 model with 3 1000's running down the middle..That's if it works well !!

jack, how do you get the glue fumes out of the tubes after the caps are glued in? I know when I've worked on plumming, that nasty glue smell will stick around a little while until plenty of fresh water has flowed through the pipes....you gonna do a practice run with some bagseeds or something before going all in with some nice gear?

Well I hadn't really thought about that . honestly i have glued 7 of them and they don't really smell after 24 hrs or so the ones i did yesterday barley have a smell and i am going to water test them all for leaks before we fill it up... And BTW no I'm putting a full round of hardcore genes right away no reason for hesitation

I forgot what it must feel like to have like 10 "special" beans n be scared to lose them to incompetence. Thank god for cloning lol
