I'm thinking about upgrading to some 1000 watt ballasts and was looking for some suggestions. I am thinking I am going to go with the Sun light Super Sun II reflectors and was looking at the Sunlight budget grow II 1000 watt ballasts to go with them. I can get a MH/HPS switchable ballast for $5 more than just a regular 100- watt HPS, do you think its worth it even though I will most likely be using it just with HPS. Do switchable ballasts last as long? Anyone have any other brand/ model suggestions?

Thanks Phillthy and FunkBomb! I'm going to have to check out those SS10s. Funkbomb I think I'm going to go with remote ballast and not electronic right now. I have heard people have had numerous issues with electronics, plus remote is all I have ever used, thanks though. Any other suggestions are cool too.
That link that I put there is to a remote ballast. All the green Galaxy ballasts by Sunlight Supply are remote. I've been running the Galaxy line of ballasts (400 & 600) for the past few years and have never had a problem. No noise, no interference, no problem.
