First off, hello ICMag

The name is Lastwaltz and it is a pleasure to join the community. A little background about myself, I started growing about 5 years ago, guerilla growing, sativa was my game mainly because of the great outdoor conditions and soil I used to be surrounded by (Niagara Fruit Belt), set it and forget it conditions... recently I moved to ``the big city`` with a stash to last me eight months and the intention of just growing when I go home for the summer... well at least I had good intentions.

After being inspired by Verdant Green and other micro indoor growers, and reading Skotty and 20/4's AF thread I couldn't stop myself I ran out and started the ball rolling so with out further delay I present my....

Auto Flower Mutiple Strain Grow

The Seeds

Initially I decided on four more traditional AF's. Having seen mixed results from the "Super" AF's, I opted to watch other threads and then pursue them next round pending a little more indoor experience. That was until the strain I was watching the most intently failed in two grows, and thus prompted me to bring it into my own grow...

1) Super Cali Haze

Type: Autoflowering sativa hybrid
Height: 40-90" / 100-225cm
Harvest: 100-120 days from seed
Yield: 110-250g / 4-9oz per plant
Indoors/Outdoors

2) Automatic - Big Buddha (FEM)
Automatic_large.jpeg

Big Buddha's 'Automatic'... the next generation of autoflowering strains bred with the intention of more stability and vigour as well as flavour and a taste that the 1st generation of autoflowering strains never had.

Big Buddha's 'Automatic' is one of the easiest to grow autoflowering plants in the world... it will astound you with its 'cotton candy stick' structure & amazing 'sticky resin' glistening on its flower tops.

With its short height and extremely 'sea of green' structure, Big Buddha's 'Automatic' is extremely low maintenance, they really are 'throw and grow' seeds!

Parents: Northern Lights x Mexican Ruderalis x Bonkers Male
Flowering time: start to finish 8 - 10 weeks from seed
Genetics: 20% Ruderalis 30% Sativa 50% Indica
Sensory experience: surprisingly pleasant high
Smell: floral lavender incense
Taste: Sweet candy tart goodness

3) Fast Bud - Sweet (FEM)
Fast_Bud_Automatic_1_large.jpeg

The most recent generation automatic strain. Excellent production with big buds covered by abundant and aromatic resins.

These plants can reach heights of 40-90 cm. They have a strong effect and a sweet taste with exotic tones coming from Diesel's inheritance. This is our fastest autoflowering strain.

Autoflowering: 100%
THC: 16%. CBD: 0,8%. CBN: 0,4%
Indoor Yield: 400-500 g/m2
Outdoor Yield: 20-60 g/plant.
Indoor Blooming: 6 weeks
Indoor / Outdoor Harvest: 7 and a half weeks from germination.
Height: 40 - 90 cm

4) Green-o-matic - Greenhouse (FEM)
Green-o-Matic_large.jpeg

Low and fast GreenHouse Seeds Green-O-Matic auto-flowering strain is pure delight for seed collectors and genetic preservation projects all over the world and Clapham.

The Green House Seed Company Green-O-Matic is the result of an extensive selection process of established automatic strains which have been crossed with selected Moroccan and Asian auto-flowering characteristics.

Type: Feminized Auto-flowering Cannabis Seeds (Automatic Seeds)
Awards: Not introduced yet.
Genetics: Ruderalis, Moroccan, White Dwarf, Low Rider
Effect: mild, fast hitting, stoned.
Flowering indoor: 6 weeks (55 days from start to finish)
Flowering outdoor: 6 weeks

The Setup -PICS ON NEXT PAGE

Lighting: 90w Quad-band LED UFO / CFL germination and supplementation.

Nutrients: Advanced Nutrients A/B Veg and A/B Bloom, Later's Root-Booster, Liquid Acid Buffer, Lemon Juice, Molasses

Dimensions: Depth 20" (~50cm) x Width 32" (~85cm) x Height 3'8" (~110cm)

Germination Medium: Sterilized Vermiculite

Growing Medium: Sumi Soil (Clay covered carbon spheres)

Growing Method: Deep Water Culture

Ventilation: Two custom in-line fans with activated carbon filters

Day 1 - Friday October 8th

Day 1 - Friday October 8th

Received Seeds

SCH - Beautiful hearty brown color and nice and small...sativa :jump:

BBA - Tan with slight speckling smooth and medium sized

FB - Darker tan with a couple speckles... very ruff looks like it has been scuffed already has me a little concerned.

GOM - Light brown and the biggest by far looks just fine

The LED will arrive on the 12th so for now they are under CFL.

Soaked them in water for five hours while I sterilized the vermiculite, then into the DWC in 4" net pots filled with the vermiculite. The DWC has been brewing for 24 hours, it is a 10% solution of Root Booster and filtered tap water.

A good point and that was initially one of the reasons I wasn't going to go with SCH. The other three will be finished in half the time so from day 70-120 it will be on its own. If I can`t keep it out of the way, it`s ok I have a much larger cab in the works. What do you think?

Thanks for stopping by and I really do appreciate the input. Cheers

Aha, I still think its gonna be really tight in there and the Led's need to be pretty close to really output what they say ye? Anyway, if you got a 2nd cab you have nothing to worry about, why not have them both running from start? If not just go with the bigger one straight away, and you are going DWC? those plants are gonna grow like they are on steroids trust me :good:

Btw does colloidal silver work the same with AF's?

It works the same way, apply ASAP as your chosen plant shows sex, and continue to spray 2times daily for 2weeks+ untill you see bananas growing. A big plus in using this method on already FEMINIZED seeds would be that they are most likely already stress tested (this saves you alot of time), so choose the one you like and go for it.

edit: i read somewhere that you should aim for pollinating a different female with thepollen you collect from the CS'ed female, rather than pollinating the hermie itself, the quality of the seeds are suposed to be better, dont ask me why

The three standard AF's are all neck and neck and flying. The Green-o-matic is the most substantial, none of them have reached the DWC yet.

As for the SCH I'm expecting for it to break the surface in a day or two.

I will have more pictures of the cab etc. once I put the real light in tomorrow.

I also picked up an older Hanna PH/mV/Temp meter and will be getting the cleaning, storage and calibration solution tomorrow hopefully.

Cab Temp./RH: 79f / 65%

Day 5 Tuesday October 12th

Day 5 Tuesday October 12th

Skotty - Hey, yah its just easier for the first while to keep them in one bucket, I can just fit 4 buckets in my NEW CAB its more than double the size and I'm going to keep the old one for mothers etc. Got calibration solutions today.

PH: 5.9
PPM: 330
RES Temp: 20c
Room Temp: 79f
Room RH: 40%

Emptied, cleaned and refilled the res.

Nutrient Mix (~10 Litre): RO Water, 60ml Root Booster (50%), 30ml Lemon Juice, 20ml Molasses

The New Cab - Couldn't find any panda plastic today, but everything else is in place. 90w Quad Band LED and 2 CFL
picture.php

Top Shelf - All electronics are wired from here this is also where I store my nutes and other related items.
picture.php

The Bottom - PH meter etc... and my 10 liter jug I bubble/cook my nutrient mix in prior to adding to the res.
picture.php

My Top Level Carbon Filter Exhaust - Simply pop off the lid and refill as needed. :dance013:
picture.php

I am using one of the UFO's 3 fans as an intake... it works beautifully.
picture.php

The top exhaust and the intake both blacked out from behind.
picture.php

My Mid Level Carbon Filter Exhaust - Haven't customized this one yet going to see if I need to add more carbon to this one.
picture.php

And the seedlings hats on :tiphat: lol - I burp them every couple hours.
picture.php

And Hats Off - SCH still hasn't breached the surface...:clock watch:
picture.php

Well thats my new cab, as a note the CFL's are off atm don't think they are needed.
