Laundry Smelling Strains

Have you ever been on a walk, caught some second-hand laundry fumes ventilating from someones house, got nostalgic freshly-washed cuddly pajama vibes, and declared "I want some bud that smells like that?"

I've heard of chemical-flavored weeds and I'm convinced that laundry-detergent-flavored weeds exist. Does this resonate with any of you? You ever smoked some Morning Breeze, or Lilac Fields, or anything else of the laundry detergent nature?

I truly appreciate your fellas' insights. And so does Snuggles.

every time i smoke my sam s original haze x skunk I say it tastes like a dryer sheet, almost like a faint floral/ perfumey taste. I also got some outdoor from an old friend a few years ago that tasted like potpourri.

This topic resonates with me.

I've been slowly, lazily, and easily working my own strain for a little bit and some of the scents that show up are "floral bath soap", "floral candle" and the "drier sheets". Although the sheets, is faaar less common at this point in the line. I really like the floral bath soap and candle smells.

I think part of the "floral" spectrum can sort of run from perfume and detergent on one side of the band to candle wax and soap on the other.

nlxshiva from nirvana smells like a pile of musky dirty clothes while growing but after a cure it smells like peppermint.

I get hints of dish and/or laundry detergent in some strains, so yes they are out there... I can't recall off the top of my head which strains exactly, but I generally really like these tastes in herb, as odd as it is to have and like the taste of laundry detergent haha.

I've got an LSD that does that...sometimes it's like the buds were dipped in lemon laundry detergent. A "soapy" taste...with lemon. I'm not too fond of it.

the commercial available around here all smells like washing machines. i dont see that as a good thing tho and i highly doubt it comes from the genetics involved. it all kinda smells the same too!

When I was younger, a buddy of mine bought a qp of some schwag. He put dryer sheets in with the bud (not in a sealed bag) to hide the smell from his parents.

Well everytime we smoked the bud it tasted like bounce sheets.

NASTY.

Never again.

Can't say I've ever had any herb that smelled of laundry detergent, but the commercial "down town brown" Colombian we got back in the day had a distinctive dirty sock aroma to it.

I've had minty, piney, floral, fruity, lemmony and musky herb, but not laundry.

All of the laundry sheet smelling herb I ever encountered was due to packaging with odor masking dryer sheets.

I'm glad I don't smoke import anymore.

we have a clone of qleaner, if grown right smells/taste like lemony spring breeze fresh laundry, dryer sheets with undertones of hash

Funny that you made this thread as just the other day i was saying my jacky white cut smelt like fresh laundry its a nice smoke quite up, but the ultra fresh /sweet tatse can get sickly after a while , but its worth getting if thats the odor your after.

excatly... a hook up i knew used to store his bud from big outdoor harvests in 50gallon drums with powdered laundry detergent surrounding the bags of lb's.. it was mostly skunky but it def had that 'tide' smell to it..
