Nirvana's "Ice" and "Blue Mystic"

Has anyone grown these or can lead me to some tips on the strain?

agreed. Nothing special.

If I were you id trade out the ice for aurora indica or pure power plant.

Blue Mystic likes lower nutrient levels and neutral PH in soil. (not too acidic) It does well topped out into a bush as opposed to just single colas if you want maximum production, it's a great strain with a very good quality high the bonus is some plants can be really big yielders.

I agree about the great yields when it comes to the bm, but i think the smoke is average at best. The AI is a better choice if you want an indica type of stone. The bm stretches like crazy, more than some satdom strains i've grown, so be carefull if you choose to grow it.

EDIT: I just remembered that the bm is the only strain that i had budrot in. Be carefull with rh in bloom!

Yea the Blue Mystic was a nice yielder but to me the smoke was bland. Go with the Papaya. I had a strong great yielding pheno that had an exotic taste. I also loved the NL/BB that was strong and very funky smell with a strong high. Just my spare change. Keep it sticky

I just grabbed a pack of Blue Mystic a little while ago. Guess I'll find out if the smoke is bland or not.

I tried the ice it was a little to dutch for my taste but i still recommend you pop every bean nirvana are a pheno fest.You may very well find something you really like.Have fun

Grew the Blue Mystic quite a few times.

It grows well, doesn't mind over-fertilizing but doesn't need much. Very forgiving.
Some grow into a bush, some to a single-cola plant. There are quite a few phenos

Yields very well, buds look awesome, taste if fruity and smooth, smell is awesome but the potency is low, the high is average and the tolerance buildup is real quick.

It can grow some huge colas if you have enough light. If it does - lookout for budrot. Had it once - very ugly.


I got the best yield from the 50\50 indica to sativa pheno being topped a few times and SCROGed.

I would use my vote on the AI - if your looking for someting for pain and put you on your ass for the night go with the aurora Indica for me it gives me a nice couchlock high.

I have Ice beans just haven't had time to even consider throwing down any as rooms an issue right at the moment. I choped mines at 8 wks in and would recommend the AI for sure ese

I'm still extremely noo to the grow. I grew from seed Nirvana's ak 48 and found 3 pheno's one sativa, one indica and one hybrid. Potency was not great although that is fault of growers. Great XX to XY ratio. Currently growing some Nirvana Chrystal = hopefully my experience will increase yield and potency. Cheers.

I had a coffee smelling afghan pheno of the ICE, it was very good, pathetic yield. Rest of the phenos were bunk

i've only grown out nirvana white widow and white rhino, both which i loved...the rhino more i'd say...good yields, good smoke if left for 65+ days but make sure humidity isnt too high so mold doesnt take hold late in flowering..

i have nirvana ice, nirvana AI, nirvana Citral and bubblelicious...got all males with the bubblelicious i planted...

out of all the nirvana strains, over the years the ones with consistently good reviews:

AK-48, Aurora Indica, Papaya, White Rhino and White Widow.

Other strains like Ice have gotten mixed reviews in what i've seen...

my next order with SB will be for the AK-48, Papaya and probably more white widow and white rhino depending, unless the AI does well...

Grew Blue Mystic a while back and got a super frosty blueberry muffin smelling pheno. Spear shaped colas, quite sativa looking. Nice aromas, great bag appeal due to trichome coverage. Not that stony but very pleasant high. Prob one of my favorite Nirvana varieties.

nirvana's ice is a regular weed, not so special. Good looking plant but regular high and regular good taste. it is cheap, so really you don't lose a lot
