How to take green taste out of weed dried in a dehydrator

I recently had to harvest my 2 outdoor planyts due to Botrytus(sp?) since it was a wet week I figured the buds that I could spare would need to be dried quickly so they too didnt mold.Now its drier than a popcorn fart and smells like hay.What can I do to bring it back around.Its purple kush and purple kush cross.Thanks for any and all info-BigD

You need to rehydrate the weed very slightly and seal it in an air-tight jar to let it cure in the normal way.

Just putting a healthy leaf in the curing jar and sealing it will make the dry weed absorb the moisture - might be worth reading up on this as there are some methods which are safer than others. A humidity meter in the jar would help if you want to be precise (look for the perfect cure every time thread).

Done it plenty of times myself - the weed cures away the hay taste in about 3 weeks.

Its gone as far as ganja goes,but you can cook,make bubble,ISO.Re-hydrate something and it will dehydrate fast, breakdown on the cellular level has begun.Who do you want to disappoint by giving something sub par.

What helps me but is possably frowned upon by most members in here is when the weed gets too dry i just put it in a plastic bag/zip bag for a couple of days. Believe me it works.

I have not tried this, but I have heard of people putting citrus peels in their weed containers to add aroma. I'd try adding the whole shebang, oranges, grapefruits, lemons, limes!

i like the fresh leaf in a jar, check it in 24 hours maybe take out the leaf and let jar cure

it will make the herb have a smell to it kinda like oranges or lemons.. however when you burn those oils the taste is horrible..


its better to rehydrate with pure water or the flesh of fruit rather than the skins as this doesnt give a harsh flavor..

just make sure no moisture is touching the buds as this will definitely cause mold.

smoke some hay. once weed is overdried rehydrating it wont make much a difference curing is done and gone.adding moisture will just give you moist hay
