What to do with BOTTOM buds???

when growing during flowering - and i notice that there are tiny buds at the bottom... should I just snip them?

Should you snip them? No. Re-read the 2 replies above.

Next time, you can "lollipop" by removing lower branches so that the plant focuses on adding weight only to the top buds. This also improves circulation below the canopy.

same. i'd only throw it away if i had a really large setup and rather throw away 20% than spend countless hours trimming it

I don't like to waste the time with that stuff when hand trimming a bunch, but luckily there's ERL in them there popcorn buds!

take all your pop corn buds and trim together and make bubble hash...least that's what i do

I'd turn it into bubblehash.

You can get a good hit from airbuds, but not quite as good as the one you get from proper buds, but almost certainly better than the hit that you get from soapbar or tumbled dealer weed in the UK.

However, whole point of growing for me is that I always have the highest quality bud possible and never have to settle for second best.

I keep my trim, including the popcorn buds, in paper grocery bags. Each bag has at most 6" of trim which I shake at least once a day for a week or until they are thoroughly dry. Then I store them in a dry location in the bags until I decide to make some hash or to pick though in times of need.

I train my plants with LST (and other methods) so that the lower buds get enough light so they arent considered popcorn buds.

In your position if they are done in time I would just add them to my bud.

Cut them off BEFORE they become weak-assed cauliflower nugs. Week 2 of flowering, or so. Any that aren't in a position to make chunky nugs, gets cut at 2 weeks+.
