I cannot read on forever getting three different answers.
Wet, dry, and no comment.

So what is best for all processes like bubble hash, cannabutter, and oils?

wet- while oils (butter included) are solvents the product need not be dry
dry- just an extra step imho
no comment- no comment needed

I use a Trim Pro and also the bad ass Bubblenow machine.

Once I'm done trimming I empty the contents of the catch bag into a trash bag and immediately throw in my freezer. I only get it out once my water and ice have been mixed and I throw the still frozen trim into the catch bag and run the machine with EXCELLENT results.

Bottom Line Tho is what works best for you. What works for some might not work for others just like every other piece of advice you will get here at ICM.

Organic or Chem, Dirt or Hydro it goes on and on and on lol try either way and see what ya get and in time you will find what works best for you.

I have the same question,

I would think that dry would cause crumbling and powdering, putting too much plant material into the sifted material

You nailed it... wet trim 4 me = less plant matter. Better finish product.

As far as BHO i've only used dry...

fresh frozen for bubble. glands fall off easier

right on about the dry for bubble, leaf gets pulverized and the hash comes out green and gross

They both work. They are all good and delightful in their own way. What do you want to end up with?

The most overall flavorful that I have extracted was fresh frozen bud using butane. It was most often described as "Fresh" by the testers. Check out Jump 117's thread on amber in 15 minutes from cutting.

Second tastiest were the various quick wash alcohol extracts using cured and frozen material. They are aromatic and floral.

Cured BHO and hexane extractions were most often described as "Hashy", but the different strain Turpenoids add their own special taste treats.

Hot reflux or soxhleting alcohol extractions produce an aromatic floral product, with a greeeeeeeeeen taste of its own, given all the waxes and water solubles picked up.

What is your pleasure?

I second mrwags' methodology. Although my extraction method is a bit different, I find that the fresh frozen trim is by far the best way to end up with fmcd hash fit for kings and potentates.

It is definitely better dry with elaborate trim.
I have tried extra few weeks ago. With very fresh and trim with 2,4,6 months old. if you have no chlorophyll in your bubble hash will you need a minimum of 1 month or longer wait until it is dry and contain no chlorophyll.

The result was of course the dry trim was much better what I was thinking before. Hash oil for you I would only recommend dry trim.

hope you could help
