this is the 17th day of flowering and i see no yellowing in fan leaves...keepin my fingers crossed but i think problem is solved...

Every grow is a learning experience. What this forum has taught me is that the most important thing for every run, feeding, amendment is, "Keep the plant as healthy as possible, for as long as possible." For as long as I've been doing this, that's always been the best weed I've smoked.......SC

started 6th week today and they be lookin good..compared to my other grows the nugs are already bigger....these nl start swellin about this time so 'm lookin forward to that..

this has been my best crop so far by a mile..not a perfect crop but i've come a long way with you fellers help...only thing i really messed up on was the scrog aspect of the grow..next round i'll do better...goin to chop these down 2mor or tuesday..really lookin forward to this because my last effort produced 1.5 ounces out of 9 plants..yes i said 1.5 ounces from 9 fkn plants..one thing i like about organics is the bigger the container the more mistakes you can get by with..hehehe...somethin else about bigger plants is the smell...i'm out in the sticks but it's got me puttin quilts on door casings, plastic on windows,etc...never had this problem with the smaller ones..

Topdressing is way underrated, 2TBSP dusted over the top for a 5gallon is what I would use.
You get a light feeding every time you water plus you make better use of the ammendment.
As mentioned feeding lightly but more often and getting used to reading the plant and recognizing what it needs before a problem is advanced is the way to go.
My man J-bird has got you straight.
I noticed you listed fish emulsions, I go easy on those later in flowering, it can leave a nasty taste if overdone, works well in a brewed tea.

thanks a lot suby..i have thought about you since youve been gone and i'm really glad things are lookin up for ye..

one more question...the crop that i just harvested was in 10 gallon containers and in the 1st week of flower i gave them 2 tbsp of mexican guano (10-2-1) twice and never seen any sign of over fertilization....the next 4 comin out of veg and goin to the flowerin room 2nite are in 18 gallon containers..how much 10-2-1 would you top dress them with?...about 7 tbsp?

depends on the guano I think...

archipelago bat guano has a phosphorus ratio of 0-7-0, which on the container it says is soluble so it can be absorbed into water... there is an additional 5% that will break down over the course of a year, which they say for long term soil amending breaks down to 0-12-0 over 12 months. It is a fossilized guano so it is a fine powder and does not have much of a smell.. it may be more soluble than other forms of guano.. but I think more an issue than how long it takes to break down is keeping it within proximity to the roots.. as it has poor mobility apparently ? compared to other nutrients.. though I guess some people believe with the proper bacteria/fungi control it can be absorbed readily? I think with guano if you are trying to top dress with guano its good to rake a little in around the roots and also water it in with some youve soaked in your water/tea.. with 7% being soluble in water it is definitely quick acting... how much of the phosphorus gets to the roots and touches them would maybe be more of the bottleneck.
Is there a possibility of dunking your bucket?? put the ewc and guano tea in bottom of same size bucket and slide bucket in bucket. now you have your nutrients where the roots are and your not soaking your whole plant.

maybe im stoned...
