back again for 20 oh 10. same ghetto cab, same lights, same ventilation. new location.

this time i will be growing out my own misha cross. i started 3 F1, 2 F2's and 2 F3's. alongside those i started 3 random bagseeds, and the last 2 lois seeds i had.

a lot were lost during seedling stage, dried out or broken in freak accidents, lessons were learned. soilmix thats mostly coco dries out really fast, and jiffy peat pots suck for starting seedlings in.

whats left are 2 misha F1's the 3rd one turned out a hermie. first one in the family. 1 misha F2 female. none of the F3's made it. of the UBS, i got 1 thats a male i saved because it showed sex after like 5 days 12/12 and the cotyledons were purple. the other bagseed that survived was a crazy mutant from day one. its 2 nodes tall and its topped itself. like after the first node the second node has 2 branches on either side of the top cola which is a mutated mass of leaves. its all fused together like a ribbon. crazy shit. and the last bagseed died somewhere. i sprouted another last week for an experiment of some sort i cant remember at this time.

It looks great, dude. Good luck for the rest of the grow. Is your heatshield broken? If you didn't know, you can use a sanding block to dull the sharp glass edges, if it's a worry. Peace.

thanks for stopping in scrub, its not broken per se, when i installed it originally i was blocking almost all the air from the cab. it was being too good of a heat shield, it was a heat shield and an air shield. so i decided to drill a few holes into it near the bulbs so that air could flow from the growing section and up to the exhaust. during my drilling i got a little carried away and the plexiglass cracked. it cracked twice actually. the crack you see is the part that didnt splinter and beak off. it still does its job, its just not pretty.

My 50w finally stopped shutting off and on every 15 minutes and decided it was done being a lightbulb. ive got no money right now and i planned to get a 70w MH/CMH setup to join the 70w hps. so now im on a single 70w/hps till sometime in a month or 2 when i can buy that new lamp. i knew i shoulda ordered another bulb when i bought the 50wballast, but that bulb was practically new and has only seen 1 grow. the 70w has been through like 2-3 grows still ticking. meh.

anyway since theres only 1 light in there, i dont have a need for heat shield, plus i needed to move the light to the middle of the cab so no room for shield anyway.

i trained mishaF2, i topped mishaF1b and i supercropped mishaF1a.

i shoulda topped and supercropped the F1's sooner i forgot they were the most sativa like. original genetics were a mexican outdoor sativa X unknown indica. F1's all grow a long single cola with no branching.

The mutant plant BLU turned out a male. sad shame that, the growth in the last week was impressive to say the least. and the smells are awesome. kind of a fruity smell. cant place it, but it doesnt smell funky like a skunk. im gonna let it go some more in the cab till its about ready to release its pollen then ill pull it. i pulled the UBS male too late last time and all the preflowers on all my girls are pollinated. so im gonna have some seeds crossed with that fast male.

Lastly the seedling i popped has a strong stench to it when you rub the leaves and sniff. i so hope this doesnt end up male too.

week 3 from when flowers first showed, week 4-5 since the 12/12 flip, and about 8 weeks from seed. letting all the pots dry out. i didnt put enough holes in the bottom of my pots and my roots are staying too soggy at the bottom corners. i drilled holes in the bottom and outer edge around the bottom, but i should have put some on the corners too, as a result now the roots in about 1/4 inch around the bottom corners dont fully dry out. might be causing the slow growth. MF1a and b both show calcium Def, and slight mag and phos def. once they dry out ill be able to tell if it was just from soggy roots or they need more food. they are all 3 also really green and showing some nitrogen toxicity in their biggest fan leaves. next watering is only water, some lime, and molasses. then from here out im going to reduce the feeding from 8/16 (lucas) to about 4/12 maybe 4/10. i certainly need to cut back on the nitrogen. MF1a the supercropped one is growing strong and on track from what i can see, just too much nitrogen. its the most sativa like in feedings and i should have been prepared from previous grows of this lineage. MF1b is showing almost 0 growth over the last week. im attributing it to the excess nitrogen and mag def. MF2 is growing like a weed, despite all the constant training, but i think maybe it needs more mag or nitrogen. all the lower growth that took over after the training is very light green. the rest of the plant is very green and showing nitrogen tox so this might also be from soggy roots. i believe thats all for this week, see you next monday or tuesday barring any unforseen circumstances.

its monday again.

not much to report this week, fed plain water with molasses the other day top dressed with lime. cal and mag def seem to have stopped or at least slowed way down. i seriously injured MishaF2 the last training sessino, she spent the whole week trying to recover, i thought maybe i killed her but i see the top angling a slight tad back up towards the lights. i hope she recovers, i think i also added like 3 more weeks to get flowering times. oh well, live and learn. train early and often, not early then sporadically like i did. the misha F1's are doing well, F1a packin on the crystals and starting to fill in nicely. F1b i think something might be wrong what i dont know yet, doesnt seem to be doing much of anything, not packin on much weight and bud grows it like very slow. i think theres still too much nitrogen stored up, or maybe the roots are either too moist or , well im sure theyre rootbound but 4 weeks into flower im not gonna repot. im gonna drill more holes in the bottom tomorrow if i dont forget again. the soil looks like its completely colonized with roots. its drawn up from the sides all the way around the pot. i can taste the moisture in the pot when i suck on the vent holes, but its not wet, its around the same moisture level that you find in a fresh bag of potting mix. i cant really tell if the soil is compacted which i doubt since this mix is mostly coco and peat. but at the same time it seems compacted, it doesnt fluff back out like its supposed to as it gets dry. which leads me to believe its just completely full of roots. im gonna let em get reallly dry this week and see before i water again, gotta make sure to remember those holes.

this is a leaf i had to take off mishaF1b this morning, it wasnt near the light but it looked all curled and dried out like it was sitting right on the bulb for hours. which is impossible since i tucked that leaf under another lower node 5 days ago and its been tucked down there ever since. strangest thing. considering mishaF2 the one in the middle on the group shot is way closer to the bulb and nothing happened to her. its very wierd. i guess it could be a ph swing, but this happened overnight and i watered 2-3 days ago. and it was just this one leaf. crazy.


this is the UBS i topped it the other day as i thought it was stretching too much and i wanted it to slow down so the branching could take off. lol it stretched even faster and more than it had in one week practically overnight.

see the spotted leaf on MF1b right side plant, the leaf up there was tucked under that one, it was in front of the fan so maybe that had something to do with it i guess, but the whole plants been in front of that fan over a week. its really strange i tell ya, almost as if they move around in there while im asleep and do things to each other. i think maybe MishaF2 grabbed MF1b and put her hand(leaf) against the bulb and held it there because she called her a bitch or something. i hope its not because i told her (MF2) she was my favorite and now shes being a big bitch to the others.

4:21 im late!

wednesday this would be what... begining of week 5 since showing flowers, week 6 since the flip, and week 10 from the day they sprouted.

no pics this time the camera is... disposed of. maybe next week.

mishaF2 was working up a serious rapid onset Nitrogen def after recovering from near death with all that branch breaking and training. i untied her and repotted in a bigger pot, all that training made her fill the pot with roots, and with the stunting theres no way she would go another 4-6 weeks in that pot. plus im going out of town for spring break and they need to survive a week with no water.

Mishaf1b the topped one is also building up a slight nitrogen def as well as a Phos def and maybe mag. fed a light dosing of lucas 4:12 the leaves are really deep green and purpling along the stems. sign of potas and phos i believe. nitrogen def exhibits purpling in the misha f2.

mishaf1a going strong with no issues the whole grow except for the nitrogen tox at one point. showing a bit of def so im gonna feed it the last time on the next watering and that should be enough N to carry it through the end of the month when i plan on chopping.

the seedling i topped a week ago, and i missed. so it was fimmed, and now growing multiple branches and leaf from the top node. i trained it around the side of the pot. im gonna start early with this one. shouldnt have to do too much since it was 12/12 from seed. i just hope its a fem and not a male. \

watered with molasses and safers oxygen plus 1-3-2 to help aerate the roots. im considering scrapping Mf1b its become rootbound and the soil is really acidic for some reason its the same mix as the other plants so i dont get it. same bottle as mf1a and same drainage.

i got crazy a couple weeks back and chopped the top for a sample, it was very stony, also very creeper took 10 minutes to come on, i think this is the most indica of the 3. but its so rootbound and etc it throws def whenever i water it even just plain water, the ph drops really fast and all the leaves get fucked. thats why all the fans are gone in the shots.

on track, i cut some popcorn from the middle that night i went crazy, super speedy high, like seriously you forget what you were thinking just like that. im gonna let it go the longest im thinking wont be done till may.

i think i may have cut some popcorn on this one too to open up the middle and get rid of the suckers at the bottom. cant say i remember the high on this one, confusion. im gonna guess because its stunted and the trichs are just coming on so thats no indication of the final product.









remember the blu male that was all stunted and mutated. i decided to keep it, its been sitting on my windowsill for like a month surviving frost and uneven light schedules, still on the edge of flower, so i threw it into the flower box so it can give me some frost resting pollen.

busy busy busy.

something went on a couple weeks ago, light leak maybe or my timer got changed in a power outage, i dunno cant be heat its barely spring and temps are still in the mid to low 80s at canopy. but anyway im seeing nanners all over mishaF1a i chopped the B plant last week. and on the mishaF2 i was seeing the roundy leaves like it was going into reveg. i think i fixed the light leak but the nanners are still coming on mishaf1 and now im seeing some on mishaF2, i seriously considered chopping the mishaF1, but i decided against it, its so close to the end and im tired of having to scrap grows a few weeks from the end. so i instead started plucking nanners. im only plucking the ripe ones that are full of pollen and any green ones visible on the surface. fuck it. the ubs plant im training around the pot is a fem and starting to go into full flower, the blu male is starting to flower again, another week and i can collect my pollen. but im gonna be going out of town for a week soon and i dont want it to pop pollen all over my girls. i need a second cab.

im flushing the mishaF1 right now, feeding plain water and molasses on alternating waterings.


mishaF2 supersativa looking, covered in frost but the calyxes are so loose and spread out, plus its foxtailing like the sasha plants tend to. not that i mind foxtails but a couple are filled with nanners instead of pistils so i had to pluck those.



male plant that topped itself all crazy mutanty. still growing weird ass leaves here and there. nice smell on it though like fruit of some sort.


last but not least the ubs fem im training around the edge of the pot. this plant is crazy, when i rub the mainstem and smell my fingers it smells like sweet onions lol.

i chopped the top of that mishaf1 the day after my last post, i noticed it wasnt sucking up the water anymore like it used to because it was focusing its energy on growing seeds boo. i guess i wasnt careful enough plucking those bananas out, the mishaf2 was getting a lot of nanner action too so i chopped the top of that one. im sad i had to do that, but it was either get rid of the nanners or have a slow seeded crop.

i pulled the male out today as the flowers are bout ready to pop. the ubs still going, kicked into full flower now and pistil poppin all over the place.

the UBS got repotted, im gonna call it sweet onion for now as thats what it smells like. taking off like a rocket with the new space. the blu male got chopped down to bare minimums and is drying out now so i can collect the pollen. when i was chopping it i was all like wtf something smells like grape bubblicious i have a cold and allergies im surprised i was able to smell such a faint scent, but sure enough the stems smell just like grape gum/candy. im glad i kept this mutated guy that would be awesome in a cross. im gonna reveg it again on my windowsill and then plant it out in the wild with the misha f1b im revegging.

misha f1a, and mishaf2 are still doing. slow motion since i topped them they should resume normal growth in a couple days. i reinstalled my heat shield as its coming to summertime in my part of the world.

ive long cut the remaining misha plants. misha#2 was stony and down im gonna rename it confusion, i smoked a blunt with my friend and then walked around confused for like 2 hours, i was happy and high but really really confused. confuzuz. misha#1 i smoked a sample before it fully dried, it was really high and racy but nothing remarkable, im gonna smoke a blunt with my friend today now that its properly dried, ill report back later.

the UBS that was left has taken over now that shes's got the house to herself. i had to do some training as she was touching the heatshield with more growing to do. also upped the formula to 3:.5, 3 shots of bloom 1/2 shot micro. smells like onions or somethign when the stem is rubbed, other than that not much smell cept green like fresh leaves. pics coming.
