check your local weather, ive got a frost warning for tonight...

THOSE WITH AGRICULTURAL INTERESTS IN THE ADVISORY AREA ARE ADVISED TO HARVEST OR PROTECT TENDER VEGETATION. ALSO... POTTED PLANTS NORMALLY LEFT OUTDOORS SHOULD BE COVERED OR BROUGHT INSIDE AWAY FROM THE COLD.

hey everyone!
i was busy this weekend. i went to a concert, had a great time.
i dryed some premature mcfly, chemdogsourD and DG mix (picked early due to mold). but they smoke just fine.

e.c, i was thinking about moving my plants indoors too. its been cold at night.

emerald city, good luck to you too. the kitchen garden sounds fun! might as well if you can..

over here the plants are pretty real big in 20-30 gallon totes and its quite a hike out there! most of it finished okay but skunk1 is not good for this area (that was pretty much expected).

making sure to get early finishers for next year. last call by mid sept imo!

fb, glad to hear the early stuff is smoking up nice!

Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Mine was ok. The fair was packed which just made it suck. Way to many people.
My girl is starting to look better after the transplant into new soil. Cant wait to see her take off.

Wow -BIG time -good for you.Guess theres no moveing your girls till the end.,,Here is a suggestion in case of frost...Floating row cover..The really lite stuff is good for about 28 degrees and you can just lay it over the tops....We used to use plastic/poly back in the day but ended up with condensation problems, everywhere the plastic touched a top created ice.......trying to make a living growing outside was craZY.
As you said much easier to pick a breed thats done by sept 1st.
Next season ill be thowing a few of the "mob" in.Done by the first week of sept...Good looking/tasteing end product too...Would have put a few more in this year ,but got my card to late to get much veg time on the girls..

who makes M.O.B.? If you have harvested some early, that's reason enough for me to buy it for next year.... sweet!

Great breed,Came across her almost a year ago....Rare[for me] to find a breed that equally as good indoor as out...My only complaint is she's almost an autoflower. If your not running a lite 24/7 she will go into bud after a couple feet tall....Best"new" breed ive seen in these parts sinse the donkey-dnk.....enjoy the day :) E.C/out

emerald city-
yeah I definitely am only going for early stuff next year. Where can I get this MOB????

Im also going guerilla gold #3 because that was SO dank(potent, gorgeous and so tasty) last year early to mid september.

Last years seed for this year got confiscated so instead ended up testing all the indoor keepers to make sure they were'nt good out too. for the most part they werent.

floating row cover would be good for the big skunks. ive heard of using plastic bags of fresh horse shit around the base of the plant. that puts off quite a bit of heat.

Anybody got other ideas for strains that finish by mid september???

also, i highly recommend growing in 30+ gallon totes if you go guerilla style. they are the only thing truly big enough. the trick is to carry them out only partially full and then fill them by the bucket full (unless youre an actual gorilla).

ernie, what fair did you do?

Deerfield fair, It rained the day before all day so I think thats why it was so busy. It was insane how many people where there.

It was still a good time though, The kids rode the camels and fed a bunch of animals.

The only thing that really sucked was they had food vendors everywhere but nowhere to sit and eat. Kinda hard to walk in a huge crowd and eat fried dough lol.

Now that my girl is looking better im trying to figure out what size light I can fit in my cab without heat issues. Its about 2'6" tall and 2' wide and 2' deep. I still gotta find the lighting chart but im thinking a 150 or 250 watt with a conversion bulb so I can run HPS and MH.
