I have personally seen the damage that a heavy concentration of escaped mink do to the enviroment . Early 70`s end of June river Avon in Hampshire , 2 months previously the shits had released 1000`s of mink from a farm 5mile upriver . Fishing was hard , not a single crayfish or waterbird to be found , an entire population of breeding birds/eggs/chicks gone . It was so silent it felt sterile .
These shits have hearts but sadly no brain , hopefully all fur products will be banned that i do agree with .
Now b4 anyone has a pop , i shoot for food for myself or the foxes , i fish , i`m a lover of all nature & animals & i live with a vegeterian former member of the ALF who will hospitalise anyone she sees hurting animals & she agrees that these misplaced liberations of caged mink are absolute madness because of the enviromental damage they cause .
CM i hope all the authorities in Donegal go all out to catch every escaped mink .

We got hit by them 10 years ago and the damage was the same, it took years for the fish n bird life to bounce back.
Sadly the govt. will do feck all, as usual it will be the fishing and hunting clubs as well as the farmers who will have to sort it out.

Mink are mink sized PitBulls that will travel where dogs or cats cannot , no wildlife is safe in or under water , on land or high in hedges or trees , there killing will outstrip any dog or cat 1000 fold .

It never has been about the rights of animals in 'the wild'.
Activists care mostly for publicity and the rights of caged animals exploited by humans...
Maybe it's time for some of them to look a bit at the bigger picture?
This case just shows that doing economical damage was the priority, fuck the consequences for the animals. They're just collateral in the good fight against 'The Man'.
