i was wondering how i can prvent light from entering in my homebox when the lights are off

there are 3 flaps you can open for air circulation , but when the ligths go off light enters from there

so what do you guys do to avoid that?

pics would be helpful to lead you in a better direction. for air circulation id get some dryer duct for the intake on the bottom of the box ($1.02 USD are HomeDepot for a 4 ft peice) you can also bend it to pervent any light leaks. put a fan on top (1 10 inch fan Walmart $4.00 USD) and place it on the top. What this creates is a "NEGITIVE AIRFLOW" which means that you are creating pretty much a vaccum which is allowing for fresh air to come in on the constant.

My tent has these same flaps. The flap in the back I have connected to a window fan by way of 6inch flexible ducting and lots of duct tape(plus I found a 6in extension piece that forms into a rectangle and fits the screened flap opening perfectly). The other 2 flaps I taped shut.

My Secret Jardin tent has flaps like that and I keep them closed. My tent has circular 6" ducting holes which I use to get fresh air into the tent. I use a short run of ducting about 2 feet long and it acts as a light trap and source of fresh air. I put some cheesecloth over it and it also acts as a dust collector.
