Canna Bio Vega & Bio Flores nutrients.

hi all just woundering whos useing this organic range from canna the bio canna organic nutrient.

what medium / system your useing it with mix ratio and how many times a week your feeding/watering so on.

I would love to hear from any useing it.

Very little info on it from growers on line.

What i found od was i found a few online stores offering saying can be used in both cannas range of soils or in hydro.

Yet when i emailed canna they sed no you need to run it with the canna bio soil range.

Hiya chicalyx i have been useing the biocanna flores now for over a month not sure how many weeks but its working fine plant looks healthy flowers are growing well and im useing perlite vermic as a medium the biocanna vega or veg was to strong i found but it also lacks N i was told by the canna rep and why there biocanna soil has N in it.

Compeard to normal hydro nutrients biocanna dont compet in that the plant growing in the same medium and set up is almost twise as large.

What i also saw was the plant being fed biocanna had little stretch from veg to flower but the hydro nutrient plant had explosive growth.

I will let you and any others know how it turns out closer to harvest but i dont think i will be ordering any more to use as a hydro nutrient what i think i will try next will be warm castings and other things as an organic hydro nurient,

I use it in canna soil ( just picked up there soil and it seems to rock) and no problems what so ever, but I also use bio rhizo, LK, seeweed, humic...........

but for hydro the extent I can give is growing lettuce in an ebb and it works great coupled with just bio rhizo.



I like the canna bio line but that might just be me. doesn't seem popular in the US

hiya habeeb well shes on water now on the way to the harvest road looks nice but you cant compear it to hydro nutrients i will add some pics in the next week or so its good yes but i think you would see better resolts in there biocanna soil and to be honest if i was to use soil i would use diffrent organic ferts mate.

Theres a myth by some hydro tastes smells less to the same plant grown in soil fact is its up to how you grow and how you alsp treat your harvest i have grown same plants in hydro then had them groing out doors and odly the indoor flowers tasted sweeter and looked more resiny after harvest any way i will post pics when i can.

i've been using the canna bio range for the last 3 grows and really aren't that happy with it.

plants grow smaller (as dalaihempy says) compared with traditional hydro nutes. also i've noticed the lack of nitrogen. i have run a nitrogen-hungry northern lights for all 3 grows and have had to augment with blood fish and bone halfway through flowering as all bottom leaves yellowing rapidly.

also having problems with mixing the stuff. it solidifies in my bottles. i've had to warm the bottles by placing them in a sink of hot water before getting it to flow properly.

also using topmax bloom enhancer during flower. but yields have been low. i've got 10 yrs+ growing under my belt and have had good success in the past with hydro and soil. the best organic method i've found is to mix compost, worm castings, blood fish and bone, guano, dolomite and calcified seaweed, using teas and molasses to get them to the finish line.

i'm generally disappointed with the canna bio range although i've previously had good success with their hydro and coco ranges. i've got another grow going at the moment and already the veg plants are showing signs of N deficiency. i'll be switching brands again soon and may go the chemical route. hope some help, and just my experience. i like canna, but not so keen on the bio range.

ps the last 3 grows have been in organic potting compost, perlite and vermic mixed. i feed every other watering.

I run Canna Bio in Coco. I hand water with a solution of 15 ml per gallon. It has worked great for me.

I have run Tigerbloom from FF and seen BC Big Bloom nutes used in same Coco style setup as mine. All 3 work great when you dial them in.

I can't speak for hydro setups though. I love the Canna Bio for hand watering in Coco. It has been great for me.

A friend of mine has been using only canna terra flores in hydro for years, including for vegging, he swears by it and won't use anything else, he has'nt ever used PH or EC meters, root stimulator, booster either. Plants standing in vermiculite and perlite, and the weed is always good. I'm planning on doing a RDWC using his method, just bought 180 liters Terra Flores yesterday for 640 euro.

dang man, isnt 15ml a gallon like 2.0 EC at least? and this is organic so EC will not tell the real "EC" value as EC is for salt nutrients

anyways keep doing what your doing if it's working, but I've seen burn on plants using 5+ ml a gallon, but my extent is limited on bio-canna..

I'm coming tardy....
I have been using Bio Canna ( veg + Flores and Boost) in my last crops. I've never saw any lack of N in Bio Canna Vega and i use 2 ml per litre and in veg phase and begin of flowring and i feed once a week. Never Happened leaves burned and always grow very healthy and greener with out any stress. It also grows very fast. My leaves are dark green color.
P.S: my soil is very rich. It's a home made mix ( worm casting, perlite, vermiculite, and Bone powder)
Concerning organic nute, bio canna is very good product. Bio canna flores is the best organic nutes for bloom, at least for me. BIO BOOST is a bloom stimulate, increase yield and improve tast - i love that one.
I've been used also BIO BIZZ. its a very good product as well.
Compering to BIO CANNA, actually bio bloom x bio flores, i have realized that bio canna flores is 10 times better than bio bizz bloom.
The tast that bio canna leaves in the grass is pretty much sweeter. Bio Bizz some times leaves an acid taste compering to bio canna. I have also realized that bio canna requires less time to cure than bio bizz, due the tast that it leaves.
I've never tried chemical nutes but i have heard that chemical is doble yield compering to organic.
Next time i'll get some chemical nutes from Advanced Nutrients. I have saw some stokes results with that.

Ive been using bio line for 3 grows and find it great. I saw immediate growth double in veg. never had a problem with nitorgen followed there schedule to a tee. grown in ff ocean forest and the bio soil. Had terrible knat problems with there soil and beleive it came with it as never saw a knat before that. sealed rooms. what I was wondering is i now have an ebb and flow setup and went to there aqua line. Know didnt realize you could use there bio line in hydro, why dont there schedule for bio include rhizotonic or cannazym? it only shows vega, flores and boost all bio of course. anyone know?

Great results with the whole BioCanna line

hi all just woundering whos useing this organic range from canna the bio canna organic nutrient.

what medium / system your useing it with mix ratio and how many times a week your feeding/watering so on.

I have had amazing results with the BTPlus and the Bio Canna nutes, plus the cannazym, rhizo, teas, and N, P, K supplements (meaning separate N, P, and K), humic, fulvic, hygrozyme, couple other things, and mucho microbes.

The yields are smaller than with typical hydro nutes, but the flavor and smoke quality is way better with the vegan and organic bio line.

I get past the reduced growth by using supplements. Extra N in veg, and extra P/K in flower.

I also use the vega way into flower, with the flores, and find feeding over suggested levels can be beneficial.

For sure, shaking it up is CRUCIAL.

I water about twice a week once the roots fill in. Building up to full strength, and then over when they ask for it. Then over even more with supplements when they ask for more.

Hi do you guys know if it matters that I use Bio nova ph - and GHE ph+ in the water mix?

They claim that pH doesn't matter, and many will argue this here. BUT I have found that when using the vega/flores, they tend to adjust pH for me. My tap pH is about 8.0. After mixing nutes it is about 6.3.

If I mix nutes, and the pH is still far off, I adjust with pH down to an acceptable number.

Just ph alone doesn't really show a whole lot. Alkalinity in high ph water is the real issue....

Ask Carl Carlson for info. He has quite a few good threads regarding it.

BUT both alkalinity and pH matter and can be real issues, and to what degree depends greatly on media and water quality.
