High all, i have access to a large amount of these seeds i know they are good source of potassium and phosphorous for animals and full of other goodies, was hoping someone with more smarts could help shed some light on it for me.

Chia seeds are pretty interesting. If you take a spoonful of seeds and put them into water and let it sit several minutes, the water gels up. Big time.
That's how they got the chia seeds to stick onto those stupid 'Chia Pets' from yesteryear.
I'd be inclined to sprout them (same process as alfalfa seeds) and then ferment them (Fermented Plant Extract) as the sprouts contain almost all of compounds found in the original seed. Apply the liquid from the fermentation process (diluted) as a foliar application.
There is chia seed oil out there in the holistic medicine world so they must to something with the remaining seed meal like they do with canola seeds, flax seeds, soybeans, et al.
my dude did use chia soil once... un intentionally he ended up with a bonsia style fast and ultra branchy mom that peaked at 7 inches and grew a woody stem in like 2 weeks tops... crazy...kinda wanna try but cant find it at wally world like he said
