The DEA has not been raiding anything all of the raids have been by your local Leo lately. If you are a 215 and do not have a legit ailment you should expect to get raided. What do you expect with all these people lying about there qualifying condition and when Leo finds out there gonna be knocking on your door. Under 215 its up to you to prove your innocent under 19 they have the burden to prove your are not in compliance.

Sorry bro, but that is not true--
LEO does not know what you got it for, and they can't find out--
Even in Court, they cannot bring up what you received your Rec for--
I have not heard of many LEO's busting private 215 grows...at least not around the IE--

There is a majority supporting on ICMag...you have to ad BOTH the "Yes" areas for Cali Residents-- (On the Poll)

200 yes
150 no.

I should have phrased it differently. Can it pass without 100% support from all bud smokers? Thats a pretty damn close split.

lol at people calling me a cop. Yeah, you caught me.

cops blatantly disrespecting laws and exclaiming "tell it to the courts" will still be an issue. What makes you think prop 19 will finally stop this?

I could be wrong, but I always assumed that ICMag was mostly growers vs consumers. I think that is where the difference lies. Short of being swayed by some bs, I can't immagine why somebody who smokes but doesn't grow or sell would be opposed to this. This prop really is all about the end user. That is where the proposition is very clear in laying out the laws.''

Bad cops are everywhere I cant not say they are all going to conform. But it will put the burden of proof back on them. Since there is no law to be broken they have no probable cause to search you. This also gives use another defence to use in court. I only see this as a good thing.

I can. 1 ounce limit.

I'm still waiting to hear someone tell me why they need to have more than an ounce on them when they leave the house. You can have as much as you can grow at home you know... the 1 ounce is what you can have on your person when you leave the property that you are growing on. didyou understand that?

He's talking about if you don't grow, since prop 19 says you can keep what you harvest from your grow. Do purchases count as harvest? Lol I doubt anyone would know other wise anyway you could of grown it outdoors last year for all anyone knows.

Really right! Just get a pot full of dirt in the front window and throw a seed in it. Hmmm... the last crop did great! Not sure what is going on here... Ha!

I assume anyone can see the point of the one ounce thing though right? It is easy for anyone to see how it would be assumed that a person carrying more than an oz would most likely be out to sell it. An ounce, in my opinion anyways, is very generous. Most people who I know that buy their greens do so by the 8th or quarter. If they pick up the zip is so they can sell a couple of quarters to get their personal for a little less than the bag price. If they buy any more than that it is for sale or for personal if they have a hard time finding it and they hoard it, but that won't ever be a problem if prop 19 passes. If somebody is actually smoking up an ounce in a day or two, without serious medical issues then god help them. If they are buying it then they must have a mighty nice trust fund, or they are selling. I don't know... that all makes perfect sense to me and I don't see many people seeing that any different than I do. I'm still waiting for someone to tell me how they can smoke an ounce a day and have a job LOL. I'm a heavy cigarette smoker and I am usually under 40 cigs a day. A zip would be like 50-60 joints a day!

Honestly...

I've been thinking about a few things and I havent really seen much talk about them here at IC... but maybe I missed them in other threads (which i havent really paid attention too because of all the shit slinging and know-it-all-ism... lame folks LAME! LAME!! LAME!!!)

I'm a little concerned about the continuation of federal funding to the state of california for things like highways, public schools, and hospitals... goverment funded social programs... that kinda stuff. Maybe its because I'm a parent and I have more to think about than just myself... but I am of the thought that the feds are gonna react in a passive/vindictive manner. Like a parent upset with a descision a child has made.

I'm leery the feds are gonna react in a such a way as "you want marijuana recreationally and you want to regulate and tax it if you feel like it? Thats cool. Go ahead. Because we are no longer contributing funding for your roads, your education, your medical programs... and you are probably gonna need $$$ to pay for that kinda stuff. So hopefully you can collect it from your recreational marijuana revenue streams. We're gonna redirct these funds that would have gone to you and send them to other states & their programs. You got it handled, right? Have a nice day". I'm also little concerned that employees of goverment contracted businesses in california are going to be out of work due to conflict with the federal drug free work place standards... and that companies in california bidding on goverment contracts are gonna be passed over for companies in states that adhere to the federal drug free workplace standards... thus creating more unemployment in the golden state.

I'll admit it - I'm a little afraid of the fed's reaction if it passes... I don't think the feds will just "take it" because that will set a precedence for other states to simply follow right in line with california (like many others say/hope) thumbing their noses at national policy. I just dont think it will go 'unpunished'.

But at the same time............ I'm a really selfish person. so......

I dont really give a flying fuck.

After November, I'm not gonna be driving on california's roads. I'm not gonna be needing california's education system, and I'm not gonna need california's medical assistance. I don't work for a goverment contracted agency, nor do any of my relatives. So whatever the federal goverment wants to do to or take away from california, its not gonna bother me in the slightest hehehe.

No one should go to jail for cannabis plants (cocaine plants.... thats another thing - some plants are better outlawed than legalized and regulated if you ask me...), and I'm crossing my fingers that the feds dont come down with fire and brimstone on all ya'll who are stuck in this great big festering neon distraction.

Anyways, thats what I've been thinking about.
I'm voting YES.

Good luck California.... you need it if it passes and if it doesnt

I have no idea what you mean here. Leo has no idea when you had your harves 2,5 years ago. There is no way they would know that. What does my post have to do with throwing a seed in a pot and calling it good. OK YOU tell me how leo will know where u got 2lbs from.

i follow the polls and consensus on prop19 on intrade.com ...it's basically a trading site where you place bets on the likelyhood of a current event taking place at some point in the future. i believe this to be the best indicator of what may or may not happen, simply due to the fact that there is actual $ behind these opinions, as the price on intrade (% an event might occur) is based on whether ppl are buying or selling the idea.

Are you saying I called you a cop? If so, back it up, because I never said that-- I would call you quite a few things...but none, so low as a Cop--

Most of the support is not from bud smokers...it is from ppl that support our Rights to Personal Liberty...and also those that simply see that they have been using Cannabis as an excuse to lock us up, and charge the Tax Payers for it!!

May I ask why you have only posted in Legalization type Threads...and you have caused undue discourse each and every time?? Yes, that is a personal question...I looked at your post history, and you are a walking, talking, disagreement machine--
It would be different if you came at this objectively, or even rationally...but you keep asking the same things...and refuse to discuss the replies you get, instead you are just being argumentative--
Wanna Debate?? I'm down-- But please don't just keep saying things that have been proven untrue--:tiphat:
