Sunshine mix #4 hydro or soil

Wondering how sunshine mix #4 would be defined when considering desired pH levels.

Would it be considered hydro due to the fact its a soiless medium or would you call it soil?

I use a 6.0 PH with sunshine, good results, sometimes slightly above or below that

i run this soil and have been feeding in the range of 6.5 and having great results with SM #4.

Thanks for the comments all, I do normally add lime around 1 cup per cuft or else supplement with cal mag during the life cycle.

i think its more like coco than soil. there aint anything in it. you have to add to much stuff. im going back to ffof!
