Hi ppl

once again I will be doing the tango with this very finicle strain :)

I know there have been about 5 members that are having a lot of trouble getting them to germ so I am here to show how I and the original breeder do it :)

the original breeder starts by giving a good soak for 24hous in plain old tap water, he then tranplsnts them to seeds raising mix or a very well draining type soil. The soil is kept moist for how ever long it takes them to pop.. this is the part where ppl are making the mistake.. if the seeds dont pop after 5 days... DONT I repeat DONT throw them out they are taking 10 - 14 days to pop. My last batch in peat pellets took 10 days :)

I have started a new batch in some compost mixed with soil pix attached and I will be updating daily untill they pop :)

so to those lucky enough to be playing with this strain give it at east 2 weeks b4 giving it the flick :D

will be dropping another 10 OMS tommoz but this time.... they will be pre-soaked in Gibberellic acid for 24 hours and then dropped and well see if this helps these beans along with there low germ rate

looking good mate :D are you going to be able to finish them down here though if their flower period takes 19 or so weeks?

seeds are quite old and were made with GA3 think i remember reading this increases the shell hardeness
oh ok, guess that explains a bit :)

I once read that for seeds like that you can put a bit of sand paper in a matchbox, put your seeds in and then give them a good shake to scuff the seed. Its meant to make it easier for the seed to sprout, but I haven't tried it so I don't know how effective it would be.

tried that with about %25 and pre cracker another %25 didnt increase the % that germed so i had no chice but to try soaking them in GA3 for 24 hours and then planting them
