Neighbors saw

My neighbor saw some young kids get out of a car jump on top of my fence and look over before he chased them away. It is a legal med grow in Ca and I am wondering if its time to pull them up right now. I figure better early bud then no bud. I would just like to know what you would do. Only have 6 in the ground and none are taller then 4 feet.
Thanks,

Cindiwaa

Depends on how far into flower they are.
I would line my fence with barbed wire and get one of those motion-sensor sprayers used to scare off deer. Teenagers are much like deer in many respects and easy to scare.

Razor wire works great and that deer spray sounds like a great idea. I'd like to add...Motion lights...sun blinding suckers. Also a motion detecting alarm. Maybe a real or fake security cam...big one that sticks out. If they entered and that place lit up with blinding light, that alone would make most rippers run.

I would sleep out there or pay the neighbor to, maybe not sleep but do a night shift, take turns or somethin

barbed wire is a great idea but fish hooks & razor blades are cheaper & easier for you to put up discreetly. go to a decent sporting goods store & buy 10 packs of cheap small treble hooks for about $5 a pack, use Spider Wire brand kevlar fishing line to attach hooks to your fence as it doesn't break or cut easily thus insuring a real decent tearing of flesh to get free.

just think 'bout snagging some dirtbag rippers!

you can also tie those same treble hooks right in your plants just don't forget where or you'll be sorry yourself.......

A.) Motion-sensing lights may interfere with your flowering...IDK, not very familiar with outdoor growing but I could venture to guess that if your motion lights were coming on beaming 1-500 watts of MH light across your backyard/garden frequently, it may cause your plants to hermie as you are interrupting their photo period..

B.) Razor wire and barbed wire are, most of the time, against zoning laws. Contact your city's specific department that deals with zoning laws and ask first because in most places it is against the law to use such stuff on your property without getting permission or having a reason...or something along those lines

So here is a update. Some people are so stupid. My neighbor had the guys license plate. We played a hunch and found the guy and confronted him where he worked. Got him to step outside and was trying to give him the chance to come clean. We know him of course but in talking to a few neightbors the grow in the hood here, doesnt everyone these days, same two guys have been seen ripping in past years. Now all the growers in the area know the guys name, car, license and where he works. I took some muscle with me and gave him a chance to come clean but he got all bad ass, yes with a girl with cancer, and never did admit to it, but he knows we know and that everyone else knows so if anything goes missing we will know. Why not just grow your own! Everyone hates a ripper.

Some of you guys are pretty cruel to the poor kids. I say put them out of their misery quickly, hehe.
