iam pretty sure you want to dissolve the wax in alcohol right?
i dont see why it isnt possible ive heard of people doing this with bubble hash so i think it should be possible
but it wouldnt really be very smart unless you just happend to have "to much" wax
and i think thats just not possible haha

If you were asking if you can make a tincture from some form of hash, which is what I think you were asking then, yes you can. There are threads on it already.

my question is is wax/budder able to b used to make some vegtable glycerin tincture? wuddya think grey wolf?

I'm reading that by wax, you are talking about a cannabis concentrate, as opposed to plant waxes.

I have been assured that you can make glycerin tincture using cannabis oil, but I have never successfully pulled it off, because of all the things that refuse to dissolve in glycerin, that do dissolve in other extraction solvents.

I was told that I am just not patient enough, which is certainly true, and that eventually it would have dissolved.

Unfortunately after two years, the only sample that I still have, still hasn't fully dissolved, so I can't certify the premise that they eventually will, nor discount the observation given the reputation of the source.

As far as budder or wax, I would not personally choose to make budder out of a concentrate and then try to re-infuse it into another solvent. Why bother, when I can achieve the same effects with the original oil?

Glycerin is also not a very efficient solvent compared to others, and can only hold about 1/3rd the amount of cannabis oil, as for instance alcohol.

damn so greywolf are u sayin u left a sample sit for 2 years and it still didnt work i was hopin like a month would do the trick? i also wasnt the biggest fan of the alcohol based tincture thats why ive been trying the glycerin but would i b able to end up with a more potent product if u use the alcohol instead cuz thats wut my end goal is

Alcohol can physically hold about 3 times more cannabis oil than glycerin.

You can also add a vegetable or nut oil to the cannabis oil, to keep it from being sticky and hard to handle. I usually use coconut or almond oil, but haven't found a vegetable or nut oil so far that didn't work. Some quite tasty.

I personally use a 62% sublingual mixture that uses coconut oil, with some other enhancing and flavoring oils.
