I am wondering best way to ventilate a small 2x3x4 grow box. Also should I get a 400 or 600w for the space? Here is the setup. Box stays in my room - no ventilation from the box outside the room, room temperature = 67 degrees and box stays about 79 now with a 150w. I have my intake fan (105cfm 4.5inch axial dayton) blowing directly outside the box onto the plants and my outtake at the top of the box blowing all the excess air out (105 cfm 4.5 dayton fan). I am thinking of whats the best way to cool such a high powered light (cool tube will definitely be in the plans).
I am pondering a couple of ideas:
1) buy 2 more 105 cfms and have 2 exhaust, and 2 intake instead of 1:1
2) get a 6" inline fan (about 300cfms) and have it running exhaust, my 4.5 inch fan running through the 400-600 watt outside the box, or have the 6" inline running through the 400-600 watt and the 4.5 exhaust (still having an 105cfm fan bringing in air)
Questions: would having exhaust way* way* more than intake be a bad thing? if so... why? thanks
