LAST TIME I CHECK GROWING CANNABIS IS ILLEGAL HERE IN U.S.
A FAMILY FRIEND WHO IS A LAWYER HAD A CLIENT GOT BUSTED ON 2000 PLANTS. EACH PLANT IS ONE COUNT (DEAD OR LIVE PLANTS) SO FOR HIM IT WAS 2000 COUNTS.

Several states have passed laws that allow growing for medicinal used.
Here in Washington state we can have 15 plants and 24 oz in possession. Of course it is state law and the feds could still cause us problems, but it's at least a beginning of something good.

2000 plants isn't really a personal/medicinal grow op though...
