Need help for next year's grow.

Next year will be my first grow.

Gonna use 5 or 10 gallon pots since I'll be guerrilla growing and I don't really have the resources/water for the bigger pots, etc. Although a 200 gallon smart pot grow looks cool, lol.

I plan on germinating around May 10th, and harvesting mid October or sooner.

Hoping for 3 ounces a plant.

Think I could pull it off?

I know it's a little early.

Pots stick out. Why not holes? Stealthier and less temp/water issues. A 3.8 cu ft bale of pro-mix HP is nearly 30 gal. Dig hole (2' deep, 1.5' dia), dump in promix, add some ferts, say Espoma bio tone, Happy Frog, and some seabird guano or chicken poo, some steamed bone meal, a little extra dol. lime. Done. You should get way more than 3 zips.

The ground is kinda hard to dig.

May 10 isn't too late to plant is it? I've seen people plant around that time and still get good yields.

the larger the pot the less often you need to water. as far as what time of year you put the plants out depend on the strain (indica-sativa) and your latitude.
