Making low grade hash

Not a fan of the smoke from the buds i grow. Well, i will save some for proper curing and im sure it will be better than my owen cure a few minutes ago, but still (and i've grown c99s many years agi and i cured these for ever and i never really liked the taste of that one(but MAN you got high) i feel i would like to make some hash on a large amount of my two plants. These plants (blueberry) are not very packed with dense buds so i dont have very much to work with.

The thing is that i'm unsure of how much material i will have left when done with the bubble bags so now i'm intressed in making good hash but also get some amounts of it. My experience with hash is that light brown rather hard bars that were i suppose extremely low grade. And packed with other filling material. However i would like to get that nostalgic smell from that hash.

So this boils down till i want a regular potent hash that has the smell from before. If i use bubble bags and mix from different bags will i end up with a descent amount of hash? Will it look brown? Will it have a classic smoke of hash or more a mix to regular bud smoke?

Thanks for all input!!!:tiphat:

ya dude. i keep all the full melt that looks like peanut butter for myself. coffee grind all the camo colored dry pieces from all the other bags, pan fry wrapped in wet news paper and clamp tight for a few hours. makes an acceptable quality bar of black hash, brown on the inside, shiny on the outside, people love it. like i said, i keep the full melt (or do bho now) so i cant attest for its taste really :)

you can make dry sift. let it get bone crispy dry. grind it up.

then stretch over the 3rd lowest quality bubble bag over a large bowl full of the ground up bud. if you dont have bubble bags then 2 or three layers of tightly streched panty hose will work. just make sure you keep them tight. it is always fun to go into walmart at 2 in the morning and buy 3 pairs of the largest panty hose that they have. the clerk has no clue what to think.

then shake it over a large glass pan or glass table for 30 min.

to press it, make a small pouch out of tin foil that is about a quarter inch thick, lined with plastic wrap. then close it up, and wrap it in a layer of damp news paper.

Then fill a mason jar up with hot water.

then take that pouch and place it in a metal pan on the stove. put the stove on low heat.

now use the jar as a roller, and press hard on the pouch of sift. turn it over several times while pressing so the warmth gets through so he hash will bind.

unwrap carefully and enjoy. it comes out like old school morrocan style even though it is done differently.

If it didnt bind try more heat or longer pressing time, and press harder. or try a higher quality bag.

I have made hash like this since before bubble bags were invented.

Sweet, its the maroccan look i'm after. I have now ordered some no name bubble bags. Will there be a difference between shaking the buds while dry or go for the icy water method?

Cant wait for harvest in a week and then making soap bars :dance013:

you do know there is nasty stuff in soap bar hash come to france or spain home of the soapbars, I guess the best of the soapbar have more "natural" stretching to it like pine resin, or wood dust but so sad to do this with pure product... :(

oh, ya there is a difference. you will just have to see, but the advantage of using a bubble bag for dry sift is huge. When you dry sift the dry nug, the hash stays blond or chocolate looking, and forms a nice oily skin when pressed right like i showed you.

the best dry sift I ever made I used super dry ssh sift, and it was blond and perfect, like Marissa Miller.

bubble you can let get mostly dry then press by hand. Also I use fresh material to make my bubble, because it retains nice smells.
