Selfhemployed's 3K Stadium Scrog. R&C amdt. 20

QUESTION: What type of dripper, drip ring, etc?? can I put in the pots that will have a high flow rate? I looked at home depot and every dripper I saw was like 1gph. I'd ideally like a ring that I can put around the base of the plant for even watering. Suggestions anyone?

You could probably make a ring simply your self with 3 or 4 emitters, 1 "T" and some flexible drip line.

I tried exactly that minus the emitters I just drilled 1/2inch holes into the ring. With the pump I had it was a no go but i just got a 1/4hp 1400gph pump and that should help. I'm going to redesign after this run. Thanks for the tip!

You make this look too easy. Great work!

There are a few things I'm going to change but for the most part it's working great as is. The biggest changes will be in strains that will work good in there. For example the white has never been a bg yielder but in the vert project it's almost unrecognizeable, HUGE colas! I may mess with putting a 400w mh in there also. Other than that not much to change.

http://store.rainbird.com/product/detail/A50903B.aspx. im thinking about using these after i read more about them... i was thinking it would be nice to find some sort of drip system to be able to change out emitters from 1/2, 1 and 2 gph incase certain plants consume more or less water. A patient of mine is a irrigation specialist and he was showing me what he uses, this is ONE of the recommendations from him. this Rainbird website has many parts im interested in, just need to draw up a drip design.

for the emitter tubing, i was thinking the design in the post above would be the way to go... just run the standard 1/4 drip line from the manifold to each pot and then add the "T" and then the loop with the emitter tubing. it would take some time to mess around with to dial it in i guess.

I couldn't find a US supplier.. I'm guessing they are called something different over there.

Can buy them from this guy gurugardener.co.nz 22nzd works out about $16 usd each If ya can't find them online in the states you could give the guy a call/email and see what international shipping would be like.
I'm going to use them when I switch hydro systems.. I'll let ya know how efficient they are.

Grow on bro

those hydro horseshoes look badass. they dont tell you the GPH or the diameter of the ring. sure would like to try them but $19.00 each is to much. yeah im not paying 200-300 dollars for the quantity needed.

http://store.rainbird.com/product/detail/x64046-M.aspx

these are similar by spraying in a circle, half circle(5 or 8 spray sites) or even an umbrella, but not like the 52 site horseshoe. i do like that the flow is adjustable with these. i have not tried these out, but only a dollar each.

let us know if you find the hydro horse shoe for less than 19 dollars each, or whatever else you find instead of these.
