curling,yellowing and dry tips

hello everybody
this is my first grow...untill 4 days ago I was doin' fine(I believed so ;))
then one morning I noticed a tiny general yellowing of one leaf...I wasnt worry...
next day some big leaves were curling down on the side...
I was a bit more worried...first I tought of over wattering...since on 19 sept after wattering my 2 plants with 50cl each I noticed that the pot of the sick one had more weight to it...
next day it was a bit worse...some yellow discoloration on the leaves that were curling...at the top of the fans

and this morning I saw the leaf first yellowin being completely dead...the top of certain big leaves still green but completely dry...

so I'm not sure what my next movement must be...please someone help me...today would be really nice since the soil is quite dry deep to 5cm

here some pics...for better understanding...

general aspect : one can see the sligth yellowing and the top of leaves dry...the plant itself seems ok ...young leaves are ok...but I repeat : beginner's speaking

50cl

If flowering, when did you switch over to using Bloom nutrients?
What order are you mixing your nutrients? (example: veg nutes 1st, bloom 2nd ect)I don't really remember...didn't even knew there was an order to follow

What water are you using? Reverse Osmosis (RO)? Tap? Bottled? Well water? Distilled? Mineral Water?tap
If using tap water, what is the ppm/EC/TDS of the water right out of the tap?(Only if you have a tds pen)
If using RO,Distilled, mineral water, what is the ppm/EC/TDS without any additives?(Only if you have a tds pen)

composition : 1%
coriander oil
94% colza oil
5% triethanolamine(don't ask me ;))

Are plant's infected with pest's?indications of very few spidermites ...some spiderwebs between some leaves 2 little spots...

some more details :

the box is 50x50x120
3 passive intras at the bottom

my beginner diagnosis:
overwatering or maybe the plant is hungry...I bet on overwaterin'
for the drying and curling maybe one intra close to the leaves incriminated..already changed this...

looks like over-watered, and maybe starting to get lockout. let the soil dry out till it pulls away from the container a lil. i have never used hesi products, but in a lot of nute products, there is an order to mix so you dont have any chemical reactions that might cause nutes to be locked out. i would take a look at there website and see if there is an order to mix. overwatering can cause lockout as well, so if there is an order to mix that your not doing plus over watering, you could be on the verge of major lockout.
hope this helps

ok thx
overwatering..Ok tought so...
lockout....that seriously I don't get...I nuted them once with fewer than adviced....waited 18 days to give them first shoot ("cause with all-mix soil you should wait 2 weeks... ")
an order to mix...well not seen anywhere on bottles on the box or even on their site...I was so "afraid" to nute them I even asked my growershop if I could mix the different nutes in one bottle...he said no problem...never mentionned any order...

so anyway I didn't watered them since 19 sept...soil is really dry....this morning i saw those 2 big leaves you can see above nearly dead...I'm still worried as hell...it's too fast for the fragile beginner I am...

I truely thank you HempAlchemist for your answer...a bit frightening tough..."you could be on the verge of major lockout"... ;)

please somebody...
could my problem be a result of a too high Ph?

yesterday I watered my 2 plants because after 7 days without, all my leaves were going down seriously...
I' ve made some tests on the water just before with my cheap liquid ph tester...

to lower the ph of my tap water I was using this recipe : for 1.5 liter of tap water i was putting 8 drops of phdown and after testing it It seemed to be a ph of approximatively 6.5...
but with my testing yesterday I noticed that when I double the ph down, the color of the tested water was nearly the same...
so OK I get it....tha ph tester is a rip off....I'll buy a digital one tomorrow...

my only kind of certitude is that my ph never been down to 6.0...well accordind to the little color scale i received with my ph tester

anyway yesterday I watered my 2 plants with 35cl each....a lot of the water went directly in the "saucer" (not sure of the word there) approx 15cl....so each of my plants really received 20cl...1 hour after all the leaves were up again except the sicky ones(nearly dead)...I realize it now but maybe I should have tested the water in the saucer...it may have given you more informations...??

I have some questions :
could you tell me if i correctly understood what a lockout is...
a lockout is when the plant can not assimilate one or more nutrients
due to some conditions such as overwatering, ph too low or too high, poor quality of the soil, too old nutes, bad reaction of the nutes mixed together, salt building...

If it's a lockout, shouldt I have to try to correct one or more of the conditions that has provoqued it?
e.g. if it was a too high ph should I flush with lower ph'ed water?
what would be in that case the perfect ph to flush? does it depends of the ph of the water that went in the saucer??
if it was only overwatering... has this period of 7 days without watering helped it or should I flush it several times anyway?

or...is there a different solution depending of the nutrient(s) it's having difficulties to assimilate....
is overwatering, or ph problems always cause the same deficiencies and therefore has "standards" solutions to remediate it...and if it's not the case should I try to identify the nutrient(s) it's having difficulties to assimilate and then try to find a solution...

am I stupid?

like a friend said to me ...have I read too much? and therefore am I too confused???

oh and about the order of the nutes...I asked that friend using the same Hesi nutrients, if he had an order...he never cared for it...probably mixed it all with different order each time... and its plants are healthy...
I can also mention the fact that we bougth the stuff the same day to the same growshop...I'll nevertheless ask my growshop tomorrow the age of my nutes...

PS like I said in my sig...I'm not sure of my english...if something doesn't seem clear...please tell me and forgive me... it took me one hour(+) to write this...I tried my best to be as understandable as possible...

thank you in advance for any answer...even if you have to tell me how stupid I am

overwatered, overfertilized, probably some ph locked out as well. If its been a while since watering give it a good flush with ph adjusted water and hold up the ferts a bit(not additives like LK or hygrozyme though). Thats what I would suggest for that plant..

they are overfeed with nitrogen
Dark green plant and leaves curling down is a sing for too much nitrogen

so I figured it out alone...:dance013:
woohoo.gif
:yay:
wasn't overwatering....nor overfertilizing...
no Ph lockout either....

the plants are doing great again...of course they've lost most of their big leaves...it has completely stopped its decaying and growth is back:jump:

so I friendly challenge you all....will somebody guess what was the problem???

I can just tell you that all clues were in this thread...and that it was my fault

I'll tell you what it was of course...well if nobody finds the solution ;)

Hmm...not sure, but maybe the temperature fluctuating. Seem pretty drastic from day to night. Or just underwatering
