hey guys

well i never grew in my life so excuse me if am not that knowledgeable well i just knew pc boxes existed a week back never actually seen one but ive seen allot of pics and explanations so i decided to give it a try my self . so i went to a shop next to my house and got the following : pc case foiled it from inside , light proof it , installed 2 fans , installed 2 36w 6400k L 1980 florescent lamps on top . the distance between the bottom and the tip of the lamp is around 8 inches

tell me what you think what should i add what missing what should i correct ?




as for the plant the seed just sprouted and i planted it in this tiny pot today

Is there a way you can mount your lights sideways up top? you will get better light penetration for sure...all the plant will get is the top of your lights right now but if the lights are mounted sideways, the plant gets more light...
you can mount a power bar up top on the back wall then fit the lights in...
just a thought..
my pc had 191 watts of cfl's with 2 power bars mounted so the lights would all be sideways, giving more light..if you go to my albums, there are tons of pics of my pc if you need any help...thats what we're here for!!

no not yet i don,t even have the pot in there its just for illustrative purposes . it on my porch getting all natural till i finnish and making sure its all ok .

what kinda gauges should i be looking for where should i mount it to get accurate readings

well i can mount them on the side but the lights are to long the case wont close i got shorter bulbs that might fit
igot 2 x 20w = 85w 1320 LM are these enough?

both fans direct the air inside the pc any out let necessary ?

it seems the air is getting out from some where .

i am going to install the temp gauge , humidity guage ,.
what else should i do ?

No problem!! I love pc grows!!
Yeah its hard to fit the longer lights in that way but the smaller ones do just fine!! I was lucky to find a really wide pc which let me put in the bigger lights...
Do you have an exhaust fan?? you will need one for sure plus you'll need a scrubber for those stinky days!! lol try not to use an intake fan in a pc too..using a fan inside to circulate air is a great idea..but you do need an exhaust because heat needs to escape somehow...
I'll post the thread on how to build a micro pc scrubber for ya too..they are very easy to make...
so, try to mount an exhaust fan as high to the top as possible since heat rises, slap in those lights, mount your temp/humidity gauges, and soon you'll have some killer buds!!!
