Non Canna Bloom stimulants+Canna coco nutrient combination??

Hi, I`m in week 3 out of 9 flowering period, growing in mostly re-used coco and feeding Canna coco A+B with only Cannzym as an additive. The only other addy I`ve used is Rhizotonic earlier on.

I intend using PK13/14 3rd week from the end, maybe a lower dose in the 4th week from harvest too, but I`m thinking of trying a bloom stimulant and the Canna one is just too pricey for my pocket, and wondering if I can get any good recommendations here?

I`ve heard of people using B`cuzz bloom stimulator with Canna coco nutes, but not heard whether it was a good cmbination.

I dont fancy using Blackstrap Mollasses due to the horrible mess it makes of the res`s.

I have 15 plants and feeding drain to waste, approx 50-60 litres per day. Its quite a lot of nutrient solution over the duration of the grow, hence me not being able to afford the Canna bloom stimulant.

I know there are dozens of products on the market, can anyone make a recommendation based on real experience.

im using ionic boost this grow,ive always used canna boost but like you said its to expensive,anyway the ionic boost is only £7.99 a litre. im into day 38 flowering and i cant see any difference in plant size or health etc.
i use pk 13/14 and boost from day 14 untill day 49 at 1/2 to 1ml per litre every day. hope this helps. stay lucky

I read that many people run the Canna Coco nutes with out the Boost. I gather that its not worth the price. I have yet to see someone running test and seeing a difference worth the price. The IONIC BOOST 1GAL is only $26 on Amazon. Maybe try that if you are wanting to add a Boost product. Good luck and keep us in the loop.

Im using Canna A&B as my base and ill be adding AN additives like bud candy, overdrive, ect... We'll see how it goes

I run the canna line without the boost, everything I've read didn't show truly tangible results for the truly tangible cost.

Advanced Nutes are like night and day if you use them or not... Its giving your plants steroids almost

this run im going to be useing Atami bloombastic,in the latter stages of bloom.

I too have used the canna boost,and found it to be a fantastic additive. but i believe you have too have grown a strain a few times, to see an improvement when you use it.

yea use ^ bloombastic.....PK plus biostims......yea blah blah blah its "expensive" 30 bucks for thier smallest 80ml bottle....Boost is "expensive too"...but regardless price shouldnt be an issue considering if the bottle gives you an extra 8th total its already paid for itself....

i recently tried to re-invent the wheel mix-matching nutrients, horrible results. canna (or h&g) spent money paying people who know far more then me to create a nutrient feed schedule using their a/b + additives to produce a healthy happy plant, changing out different blooms, hardeners, etc, may have a real negative effect on your plants. if canna costs too much, maybe switch to rez' modified lucas formula, seems to work well for him and costs less than canna. i learned the hard way... just my 2 cents

i would say atami BLOOMBASTIC, mix really good with other ferthylisers.

why do you want to start so late with po 13/14. 3 rd week is just perfect for starting with pk.

Hey all, thanks for your responses. Its carbs I`m wanting to add, though I know many manufacturers claim some magic formula, but in the end a good carbo product is what`s required and shouldn`t cost anything like the price of the boosts.

I`m probably going to give light applications of Blackstrap Molasses seperately from their feed res`s, as it makes such a fookin mess of the res and dont think the drippers would cope well with the gunge. Its just a ball ache, could do without it, and would like something that I can add to the res without the mess, but Blackstrap Molasses is £1.89 for a big jar and Boosts are lots of ££££`s. It stinks of a great big rip off to this cynic and I just cant bring myself to buy them, I even went to a good hydro store and tried to buy some, but just couldn`t do it.

I`ll go with the A+B, PK13-14, maybe start adding some in low dosage on Saturday, start of week 5 of 9, and some hand fed Molasses every couple of days if I can get a routine sorted out.

Is Canna coco a/b pretty stable in the reservoir (non recirculating)? How about if I mix up a batch that will last 30 days, air stones in the res?

What kind of ph are you running with canna nutes?
