TH Seeds - S.A.G.E, Sage'n'Sour and MK-Ultrawreck

Trying to choose two out these three strains from TH Seeds..

I know not a lot of people have grown all of them, but if you have grown at least one, please reply!

Sage is supposed to have some heavy, heavy yielding phenos, and should be good smoke. I heard something like Cypress Hill guys have said it has been the best smoke they ever had. Might be an advertising trick, though.

Sage 'n Sour could produce some heavy phenos too, but as heavy as pure Sage, dunno, but I bet the smoke has the potential to be better - I've grown Sour Diesel V3 from Rez a few years ago and despite averagish yield (I am not saying bad, but in comparison to some heavier yielding cuts in my closet at that time) man it was one of the best herbs I have taken.

MK-Ultrawreck has some bad rap here in IC. I know why, the TW Arcata cut is a female, yet the cross is made with a "Arcata TW male". However, there are techniques to make a female turn male - and then pollinate some other to create female seeds - I believe this could be the case. You might know better, but this is supposed to be a heavy heavy heavy yielding - heavier than either of the Sages, and potentially even more deadly potency.

Help me choose. Grow experience is a plus, I wouldn't want any speculation on this thread, if you understand - So if you have grown any of these out, please say something!

PS: I would be probably getting them as feminized seeds. If you have a reason why I should go with regular, please let me know. The MK-Ultrawreck is the only one only available as feminized, not regular.

Thseeds doesnt have a very good rep, the most success I have seen around here has come from SAGE.

There's a sage (maybe even sage n sour) report in the flower pix area...or possibly the smoke report area. I can't really remember at the moment, but the cat who grew them out raved about how good it was. I'll see if i can look it up for ya.

yeah I almost bought some MK ultra until I saw the threads on here.

Could you link me to that thread please, have searched but can't find it. Or weren't you refering to a specific thread?
I'm interested because I had a very disappointing experience with growing MK Ultra.

This next report has some pretty respected people speaking good things about the sage n sour, and particularly a certain members cut of it (although its fairly old).

There's a few more, but you'd have to do the searching for yourself on those...but there are some good reports along with the bad (as with most things around here). You're probably gonna have to dive in and figure it out for yourself.

I have a pack of sage n sour that i've yet to pop...but probably here in the near future...just to see what they're all about, good or bad.

i have tried sage and sage n sour, both were hohum. never tried mk-ultrawreck but years ago i had a good rendition of mkultra that some med mj providers still hold. but from reports on current events that i have seen posted, imo i would pass on all three. paying this kind of dough for a pheno that you may not find without buying a couple of packs of each is for those far richer than me. but good luck to you in your quest. peace-biteme

i have a pack of Sage f2's made a while back by a buddy..I have never grown her out but have smoked the SAGE..and its one of the nicest sativa;s out there..length of stone was very impressive from what i remember ..It has crazy donkey dick size nugs and a very pepper smell..IMO some real nice smoke for sure,,hopefully i can find the time to grow the f2's out one day

Hmm, disappointing genes, huh?

For what I've seen, Sage and S'n'S look like something I wouldn't be disappointed to have in my closet!

I think I'll buy S'n'S and MK-UW, as someone said in one of those thread links posted in this thread that it outyield and outpotencies the regular Sage.. MK-UW just to try it out.

Were those his exact words? Could you refer to me where this was said, link or something?

Or was it more in the lines of "Sage is almost like SSH" or does he have absolute knowledge that the TH Seeds guys just sell F2's of the original SSH?

JH, SSH, Diesel and Sage were IMO all the same cutting, the ones that won the Cups. Seeds produced from these plants are often sold under the same name. I can tell you that you wouldn't want the batch that the NL5HzC x SkHzC came from. It was a "one off" in a batch full of skinny cat piss. Even 5CskC1 (new abbreviation) had a Diesel/Piss smell, and if it wasn't so quick and resinous (thank God for NL5) and so god awful strong, it wouldn't have been looked at. (I hope I'm not hurting anyone's feelings here)
In a draw full of NH and NL5C1 and NL5C122, it wouldn't get smoked at all. There are ways to improve it and experimental batches were made.

I grew some SAGE a year or two ago from a clone that was gifted to me - a beautiful pheno, and whilst not the most potent weed I've ever smoked (and there probably are stronger phenos), the taste, smell and general growability were outstanding - slightly indica-leaning in leaf-shape, and very branchy.

This one was also odd in that it produced one male flower at the base of some buds, which were viable, and so I got about 15 selfed seeds from this plant. I grew a few out and managed to get an almost perfect replica of the original, bar the purpling, but I think it was grown in summer anyway, so less likely. But I liked it, and would probably fling a few more in the dirt sometime...

ran kushage, sposed to be sage x og kush, very little variation from plant to plant, taste and smell was bland, stone was full on slo motion. yield was not too much.
