Help with Yield

Also I dont exhaust during the day, as Im running co2. I exhaust at night.

Do you cool your lights off at night? If not, I'd suggest you run the lights straight through, what i mean is instead of going inside the room from carbon filter --> lights ---> Outside of room, you instead recirculate the carbon filter inside the room (which will allow you to scrub without robbing your co2), and then run your bigger fan (6inch?), from outside room ---> lights ----> back outside room.... This way you can keep your lights cooled and keep the air scrubbed even when your CO2 is on.

Now thats not saying your temps are bad, because if you are from 83 -86 with CO2, then you're right at what I've always known to be the ideal CO2 temperature. At least this way, you can cool your room down a bit, and have a little more control over what your minimum temps are. Sorry, I know the thread was about increasing your yeild, and this probably won't help that, but at least you'll have a few extra degrees to play with, so if something out-of-the-box happens (like a super hot fuckin day), then your temps wont max out over 85 or so.

once u go dro u wont ever go back to soil again ...some do but not many... learn the plant in soil then move on. thats what i did . i went soil then soilless mixes then hydro...what a waste of time is all i can say (SOIL sucks and is dirty lol). once u get a dro grow or 2 under your belt. u will see what u been missing out on with yeilds.

Iv done both hydro and soil and went back to soil , I can easily pull two lbs per 1000 W in dirt with certain strains like sd . The way to big yields is intense lighting ,correct air temps , containers that are the right size for the plants, dialing in their feed and the most important thing is the strain .Last run we got almost 6 lbs from 3000 watts and 25 ultra Sonja's and it was our first run with her

New Pics Canopy during flower

New Pics Canopy during flower

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions. Here is my canopy in full flower at the beginning of week 3.

Temps are steady at 83-88 with co2 at 1500ppm. Nutes are watered at 6.0 (or close) ph with about 1000ppm (right now will go up in coming weeks.)

Added the t5 for supplemental lighting.

Light is 12 to 18 inches 1000watt HPS aircooled hood

Did some supercropping and lst to keep the crop short while I vegged longer but it ended up getting huge on me anyways.

QUESTION? Can I lst during flowering if a stray bud has gotten much taller than the rest of the canopy?

I prefer hydro for better yields myself but some may disagree. With a 3x3 ebb/flow tray I do SOG'S, single cola style, clones in at 4 per sq/ft, straight on to 12/12, 1000W HPS.

SINGLE COLA 91.5 CM LONG

I think I'm just lucky to have found a strain like this, indica, have maintained for nearly 9 years now.

I wonder what your canopy looks like full flower. Looks like it's going to be quite uneven with large plants shading out the smaller ones.

I'd consider different methods of canopy manipulation; topping, LST, scrogging, defoliation, SOG. Those sticks will keep them upright but won't do much to ensure an even canopy. By keeping a uniform canopy, you ensure all your budsites are being lit. This will increase the efficiency of your grow. People are often surprised when they realize how much more bud a simple screen will give them.

what i was thinking

By the look of that lot I don't think you need much advice or help but I have found growing single cola SOG style does increase yield. I do it in ebb/flow hydro, 4 clones per sq/ft. I think you will be fine by the look of that set up.

lol, yeah SOG will increase yield IF you do high plant numbers like you said - 4 per sq ft. But he isnt doing that bro. He has 12 plants under 2000 watts, that isnt 4 per sq ft :)

I'd veg longer than 4 weeks, Try to setup a veg area and veg for 2 months and do some training techniques. LST, SuperCrop, or SCRoG.

Unless doing sog, veg time is directly related to yield.

If you really want to get the maximum yield out of your lights you want to do SOG. I did 16 oz party cups with Promix and fed with Foxfarm liquids. Was pulling 8-9 oz's per 400 watt. To make watering easier for so many plants I would put the cups into washer trays and water/feed every couple days from the bottom just pour into the tray and they suck it up threw holes in bottom of cups. You only veg for 5 days after you transplant your clones, let em get established a little then flip em. Your goal is 6 inches + of one bud. If you really want the most out of yield for a small area. No wasted space this way.

ho braddah,
Try One plant per 1000W, veg for 2 months in a 15 -25 gal container and train like crazy. Keep you're cannopy flat of in a stadium shape, and you're light as close as is comfortable for the plant. Use hortitrellis to keep colas upright and recieving equal light. Find a strain with SKINNY sativa leaves and big fat running indica buds.

To be honest though, I have seen people pull 2-3lbs per 1000w, though everyone who is getting this type of yield is growing inferior quality product, garrenteed! I wouldnt touch that stuff without a vaporizer. Go for quality of high, taste, smell, burn first, then see if it's even possible to increase yeild after that.
