I am finally getting around to growing out some crosses using Rez Dog genes.....

First up is Skanky Lisa or HTC Skunk IBL x Lisa Marie and the seeds were dropped into the cups around the 12th of July.

Chem D Beta BX1 x Sour Bubble BX4

Now these are around 6 weeks old I think.

I'll get working on trying to find parent pictures and post them as well.

Here are the Skanky Lisa at about 7 weeks from seed being transplanted into 3 gallon pots today and veg another 3 weeks then put into 7 gallon pots and vegged another 2 weeks before flower.

7 out of 8 plants were female.

I have not sampled this SL yet but will get back to you with a smoke report of sorts... also the pheno I have does not appear to be the same as the ones you are growing. It is probably too early to tell but the leaf shape on yours appears to have a wider indica morphology. I believe the SL I have is more of a hybrid pheno

Thanks for the pictures and info.....

Anything else you can provide like germ rates, m/f ratios, how long did you veg and yield ?

The yield on beta's pictures look like about the same to the Lisa Marie and for sure more then the HTC Skunk IBL.

But the main and most important question is ?

Would you grow it out again ?

Oh here are the only pictures of the male and female parents I could find.

I agree with Beta on everything except the moderate root aphid resistance, the SL that I grew was one of the most susceptible strains in my garden but oddly was very resistant to Powdery Mildew. This observation is relative to the other strains I am working with as I do not have the experience to place it in the context of how resistant it is to root aphids compared to all cannabis plants.

Would I run it again? Heck yeah, I am growing perpetual and am including at least one SL in every flip. My favorite characteristics of SL are: PM resistance, big flower shape, and a VERY well rounded smoke. Its not the most potent herb in my quiver, but is definitely a keeper.

I should probably be more clear - Lisa was Just as likely, if not more so, to host the root aphids; She just seemed less affected by them yeild-wise.

I agree, my yield did not appear to be reduced by the infestation. In all fairness though I have not seen a SL that was not infected so I have no control to compare it to. I have observed though that the SL I am running that is a few weeks behind the SL I just harvested appears to have less of a aphid problem and seems to have more trichome development. The first SL I ran did not show much trich. development on the small shade leaves but the younger healthier SL is showing more trichs on the shade leaves.
