Is this K toxicity?

Hey IC!
You don't find me in the infirmary very often unless I am helping someone with their plants. So here I am, helping someone with their plants but on a more personal level :)

My buddy has a grow right now with some leaves getting funky on us. I feel bad and want to correct his problem ASAP since he lost his last two grows to the stupid offgassing NGW hose.

This grow is in an organic soil mix, he is growing with the SOG method, strain sour bubble mostly showing these signs. He went with a 2 week veg in a 3 quart of a gallon pot, I do suspect some of his plants have eaten everything up in the soil.

He is on day 30 flower +/-, he recently (maybe 5-7 days) fed these plants with Beasti Blooms, via the reccommended dose I have been using successfully, but his plants are on the smaller side.

Dose: 2 tsp Beastie Blooms per gallon
(I think this is right around 400ppm @ .5 with 150+ tap water)
Not PH adjusted, not onc ein this mix have I ever PH'ed anything.

The Mix:

1 bag ocean forest
1 bag happy frog
1 bag bcuzz coco
3/4 quarter cup lime
1 1/4 cup bone meal
1 1/4 cup blood meal
4 cups EWC
Half bag perlite

Thats it, just add unchlorinated water and you got buds in the bag. I supplement it with the foxfarm tri pack, the 2 tsp dose is what i use and was reccommended to me by the soil creator.

Temps are right around 80, some days a bit higher. Humidity is good, no pest.

PH: 5.8
His normal waterings are around 7.1, I know it sounds messed up but I have harvested 3-4 successful crops with this method problem free. Not a huge organic mix nerd, nut it seems thats the way its done

My guess is lockout form chem ferts ph?
Over pottassium? (little to slap happy on the little girls?)

Have a look, this is occuring on about 8 out 60 plants, but more everyday. Leaves close to the top are displaying this.

Ok so I had to come back and add the PH to my post. I had him test it, he poured in 7.1 water and got 5.8 out. I am guessing his medium is way to hot from the chem fert feed. I am thinking a good flush to a normal ph range and a a couple smaller feedings later in flower to finish these girls out.

I would say it is nute toxicity caused by Beasty Blooms at too high a dose for small plants. That stuff is potent and if a plant isn't big enough to take up all those ferts it would be toxic.

I agree with the bloom booster OD. Mobile elements 'burning' the tops. Looks prettier than regular yellow nuteburn though!

How much smaller are his plants compared to yours?

sog vs bush 10"+ compared to 3.5ft bushes....was my mistake telling him to dose it that high like normal. I am just used to not applying myself in this organic mix with a 6-8 week veg...

This looks like what I see on my white rhinoes, but more pronounced. I see it whenever I pot-up to bigger pots and I only see it on seed plants, not on clones. Mine seem to push through it okay, but I am seeing nitro deficiency in flower. How might I correct that? I've added 1/2cup castings to each plant and water-over. Not sure if this is enough or will help at all. Thanks!
