Ever have a ghost encounter or feel their presence?

here we go with my experiance,
i must have been 16 yrs old and went on holiday with my parents
and cousin to Benidorm, first few days were ok.
then one night i came back to the hotel room,it was one of them damn hot
nights and there was this little mosquito flying around so i coudnt sleep.
the lights were out and then i looks in the corner of this room and i see
a little man(spanish looking) with black curly hair with an evil grin on his face.
at this moment i froze,i could not acctualy move,just stuck there.
then a little boy appeard and went towards the veranda/balcony and disapeared.
my attention was drawn to the old guy laughing n the corner still but now he is
comming towards me,i hid under the sheet and could feel his presence
inches away from me.i was hanging onto the sheet for dear life and gatherd my thoughts together,said fu-- it, fuck off as loud as i could shout and i jumped up
and there was nothing there anymore.
i turned on the lights and then went sharply to my mommys room
where my cousin was sleeping,too scared to go in our room.
she had some ghostly experiance aswell.
next day my mum was telling the staff and they said that a little boy had fell from the veranda not long ago and died.
i never slept in it again,i met up with these boys and staid in there room
on the floor.

Several,,, the most vivid and reoccurring of which was a young Edwardian girl that used to play hide and seek around the fruit trees in my old garden (once her orchard).. she was a bored child with older sisters. Completely harmless.

I've shunned evil spirits out of houses a few times,, mainly because my consciousness is stronger than their presence. Most things in this world are mind over matter and metaphysical.

Since my mom passed away over 2 years ago, my brother and I have returned to the house we grew up in. I don't see anything, but I swear I hear sounds at night like she is walking around, and I sometimes I catch a whiff of strong fragrance that smells just like what she used to wear. I have smelled it in many parts of the house but especially in and in front of her room. And once or twice, I smelled food cooking. I believe she visits to reassure or comfort us. Who knows?

when I was a kid a couple of farms away the dad killed the whole family, and then himself only the Mother survived. My Mom was close with her.
They lived in a old farm house 2 story plus. Kids started going in the place and doing stupid shit, not me that place still scares me to this day...

The county wants to burn it down and at the same time give the fire dept some training. It didn't burn to the ground... The framing would not burn all the way, the thing was still standing. Science tells me after all the pine and light shit went up, there was not enough flame to keep 100 year old timber burning. My gut tells me that MF is still here trying to make a statement. They came in knocked it to the ground with a dozer.

I never crossed that land I stayed the hell away, the pastures suddenly started get sinkholes in them huge 12-15 foot across 6-8 foot deep. They had cows on that land for years no sink holes... Science tells me underground water changed course and cause it... My gut tells me he's back...



Kids said they saw a winged monkey in among the trees. So one day me and a friend get our stones large enough and take our blowguns and check it out. We made it to the place where the house was fine. The weeds were well over 6 foot and sort of a trial system that wove in and around the sink holes.

I saw a white flash out of the corner of my eye and I felt sheer terror like oh fuck we should not be here... Then every thing started to white out, it was like a blackout where your eyes slowly get shut off till you pass out but white.

I came to with my friend looking down at me "you OK?" I said do you feel that? I was still scared shitless... He was like I feel scared I said lets get the hell out of here...

Every ten or fifteen feet it would repeat itself, flash of white around us and I would hit the ground in a pile. I came to and my friend was dragging me. The futher away from the house site we got the better it became. I could somewhat control how far I went before I passed out, I'm talking a 200 acre farm.

We finally made it back to our bikes it seems like days not hours, we hauled ass home. And we didn't speak of it again...

I went back once with some people when I was in my 20s not one person in a party of 4-5 cared to walk across the land. It's a gut feeling you get that something is just not right here...
I'm in my 40s and have faced death many times with fear in my heart it's sort of calming when it goes all slow mo on your ass. But nothing like the feeling I get when I get close to that place sheer fucking terror... I camp out in the woods all the time by myself 80-100 miles up in the hills and don't get freaked out. I can feel bad mojo, and I can separate the fear and it.

I might google earth it however I will not go back there in person ever... Peace and puffs

but, on a serious note, I need to experience something paranormal first hand that is, without a doubt and without question unwarranted (IE, an apparition or something) then maybe i'll believe...maybe something happens at this prison? who knows...

When I was in prison they asked for volunteers to take apart the gas chamber and help put in the lethal injection table... It was in cellhouse #3 in Old max in Canyon City Colorado. They have no stairs BTW it's 3 stories high with ramps so a gurney will roll down... Talk about hair standing on end... I was freaked out but I was out of my cell for more than 1 hour out of 23... I remember that like it was yesterday... It was 22 years ago... Dead man walking for real...

The more your receptive to them the more they are to you... You need to "feel" them more then "see" them... Just open your mind and clear your beliefs of what you think you know...

yes. the night that my father died, the entire family was in the living room, letting mom do what comes naturally at times like those. i was sitting on far side of room, facing toward them, when my father appeared behind them in the kitchen door. he appeared as he had been in his twenties, when he & mom were first married. he was there but a moment or so, smiling down at her, before disappearing. it made me feel as if he was checking up on her one last time. and no, i never told her. i hope to have the courage to do so before she or i pass on as well...

I had a friend that lived in a real old house and for no apparent reason his cat sometimes would totally go ape shit in his bedroom and it would get real cold. His mother even had priests come to there house and do what ever they do. This is the only weird instance i could not explain and i'm totally about science and fact.

it starred this Marc Emery type as Ebenezer Stooge an overtly greedy seed vendor. Stooge of course was charging too much for seeds and so one of the best gardeners Bob Batshit and his pathetically weak and socially hobbled son Tiny (Yummybud) Stem were in danger of having to plant bagseed of suspect quality.......


of course you know the rest of the story as the Ghost of Gardens Past, The Ghost of Ganja Present and The Ghost of Hydro Futures were busy showing him (and me as 3rd person spectral spectator) the evils of his ways.

I may be sensitive but I am not crazy, despite what everyone thinks, and I think a lot of people here you dismiss so arrogantly could say the same thing. Who are you to say what someone else experiences is not real or a delusion? And to someone else who commented, yes I do often see flashes of blue light out of the corner of my eye or sounds in a semi-conscious state while in bed at night, so what was the point again?

So lets say that 15 people had ghost experiences (I'm sure there were more than that posting in this thread but w/e) out of the 123,394 Icmaggers if you scale that to the 6 billion people living on Earth then you have people seeing ghosts left and right. So you can refute my point by saying most of these people are misguided or lying but wouldn't that say the same for most of the people in this thread? Surely you won't tell me that the people posting here are above reproach and that it's everyone else who is misguided or lying. Now one of those ghost hunter shows had people going to some places where some of the worst atrocities were committed and the "evidence" they had was found to be falsified. You can't tell me grandma's house is more haunted than some penitentiary where they tortured many inmates (but I don't have the slightest clue as to how ghosts manifest so I concede this point). Most ghost experiences can be chalked up to be car lights reflected in windows, air pressure slamming doors, sensitivity in human peripheral vision (especially at night when you are more likely to misinterpret sights and sounds, and Pareidolia (an innate tendency to recognize patterns in random perceptions like faces in clouds for example). In addition to that infrasound can cause humans to experience bizarre feelings in a room, such as anxiety, extreme sorrow, a feeling of being watched, or even the chills.

My own ghost experience consists of some friends along with myself sneaking into a supposedly haunted insane asylum. I was really freaky at first and the biggest guy was to scared to be walking first or last. There were papers everywhere detailing patients conditions or were records of psychiatric sessions. When we held up a piece of paper with writing on it and looked at it through the camera the writing disappeared. After minutes of freaking out and moving the paper back and forth from the camera someone had the bright idea to turn nightvision off . Coincidentally the asylum was burned to the ground by someone a few months later.

I wouldn't call it lying, but I believe it's in people's emotions to immediately jump to conclusions especially due to the mainstream media programming them...not just with paranormal...politics, economy, government, whatever...we are trained to believe certain things through propaganda (cannabis prohibition as one) and a lot of people stick to that propaganda...

Shows like Ghost Adventures, Ghost Hunters...TAPS...TRUE paranormal investigators will state that it takes them years sometimes to get convincing evidence, such as a Class-A EVP in which Ghost Adventures guys get almost every episode...or flying bricks...lolz. There's a forum Skeptical something or other that outright shows TAPS faking FLIR evidence...

There's a side to everyone that wants to believe in the paranormal so attributing things to the paranormal that they can't immediately understand is common, but is not lying. It's assumptions based on experiences with no science to back it up...Although fundamentally paranormal experiences can't be proved by science because it's just that, PARAnormal...even the fancy gadgets they use such as FLIR or EMF sensors only show electromagnetic fields and thermal images, and if spirits do exist and manifest themselves to us, our stupid science can't explain how they 'cross over' onto our plain.

Who knows, bottom line is it's all experienced based and again we a lot of times attribute things to the wrong things, and call it paranormal...

What has me interested more than those dinky TV shows or EVP recordings are Ghost Boxes...basically modified AM/FM tuners that scan up and down all the frequencies and a lot of times if there is a "spirit" in your presence, it is 'considered' a '2-way' communication device...you can hear experiences on youtube, just type moundsville and ghost box and you'll see what i mean.

BUT, like everything else, it can easily be faked with low-level audio editing software. I'm actually going to grab one myself and test it out, it's only 30 bucks and worth the shot instead of spending $5,000 on FLIR and other fancy shit!

Here is a prime example of what I mean. I live in an old (remodeled years ago) farm home, over 110 years old but still sturdy as a motherfucker. When the downstairs door opens, the 'vortex' or whatever you want to call it of air can open and shut my door 2 floors up in the attic. It's just the tunnel of air finding it's way up the steps and whatnot. People don't realize this then when the door opens they freak out!

OR, another example, i'm sure you've all heard this stuff...when temperature changes come certain materials and substrates change form and due to this, can make noise. As an example...have you ever been in a hot room in which you turn the A/C on, and you hear cracks or noises? My computer LCD monitor has a plastic frame. Sometimes when drops in temperature occur, the plastic 'cracks' because the surface temperature has changed. This can be with anything, and can trick people into thinking noises are paranormal when in reality it's just the material changing form or going from a more flexible state to a more rigid state...thus making a cracking, bending or other weird noise.

I have never seen a ghost... Flashes of light, weird images my mind try's to make out... My eyes may play tricks on me with a little help from my mind, or do they??? however coupled with fear and some "gut instinct" I can feel as a fellow ICer put it "energy". I'm more of a sensitive type man with my emotions. IE: Today a "Brother" was telling me about the death of one his "Brothers" I had to walk away and try not to break down.

So you could say maybe because of that, I'm more receptive to the energy going on around me. I don't read people and make a judgment I "feel them out"

Most "tribes" left untouched by us and our "knowledge" believe you pass into the spirit world when sleeping or high...

However there are no feeling in science, just cold hard facts until the next guy gets published then the facts change...

All's I know I faced down a few bad MF's in my day and was scared shitless, but nothing like walking into that death house or across that land, I can feel when shit is about to pop off...

I don't know if I will ever be able to put it in words or explain how to "feel" it more then see it. As you travel though out different rooms and cell houses "feel" them out. Just keep a open mind. And you will know that feeling if you get it trust me... Peace and puffs

I modified a radio shack 12-587 to be used as a "ghost box"..

It basically is a simple modification that makes the am/fm tuner constantly sweep all AM/FM frequencies, and some believe it allows one to communicate with the other side as the other side can use it's energy and radio waves to either speak or manipulate words...

there are many videos on youtube with some highly questionable content, but nevertheless interesting.

i tried it today, and started with a simple question of is there anybody here with me? and what i SEEMED to have heard is "No" 3 times....some say that spirits are playful or can be loving or evil...

So i tried another question..."tell me the next number in the sequence...1......2.......3....." and i heard 'radionoiseradionoise FOUR"...no lie. Could all be circumstantial though.

I'm setting up a session right now using a microphone and Audacity and going to see if i can capture any EVP's. I can't do it at the prison because i don't have a digital audio recorder, but I will report back and let yall know if we heard anything crazy...or if i find something crazy tonight.
