my clones are looking pretty bad right now they have been in a humidity dome for about a week, vents are shut, now and im seeing a brown discoloration...i fear the worst...i have been misting the rockwool cubs when they look like they need water, the water is ph'ed to 6.2. there is good humidity so idk what could be wrong maybe im missing something....thanx in advance

Take out of humidity dome. Don't spray them. Bottom water the rockwool only once per week. PH should be 5.5-5.8 in rockwool.

If you have a dome in place, you shouldn't need to water the cubes at all over the week.

I only use the dome for about 1 or 2 days. Then i take it off for about 20 hours or even longer sometimes. But put it back on for several hours. Then take it off again. I get roots at about 7-8 days (with some strains longer), using just water/lemon juice (to pH cube) and dip 'n grow root for cutting.

You dont want to keep that dome on. I just like to let them relax like once a day or so. Then take it off again. I get roots about 7 days which is fast enough for me.

Too much humidity can let fungus grow as well, and cuttings dont have a good immune system.

just like what frozenguy said should take off hood at time and give it a dry out time and then go back to full humidity and photo would help us help you bra

wow i took off the humidity dome, fed'em, 10 hrs later they look hella dead the leaves have shriveled up...sighs

"fed em",.....................with?, how much? what was it?

you don't really "feed" clones with no roots, you might use a "rooting solution" (I personally like clonex), but if you look, the concentrations (when properly mixed) are very, very low.

what's the ambient temps where the plants are?

everyone above has it right: cuts into the medium, water well initially, dome for a day or two TOPS, then remove the dome, and bottom water as needed (with RW, it's once a day or every other day once the dome is off)

you might want to try straight rinsed coco coir fiber instead of rockwool, it holds more water AND air, so it's usually a little easier for the beginner to get the hang of this, as the plants don't wilt much (if at all) in coco

What is your humidity/temps?
How close is you light and how much power is it?
If anything, during hardening off a cutting may wilt a little, but not shrivel up, unless the cubes were dry. they should be very wet if not saturated. I keep mine saturated (rockwool)

thanx for the quick responds fellas, Frozenguy, reckon the temp's are pretty high here in cali im glad fall is right around the corner and the temps are starting to drop, on a hot day i can only get the grow room under 90 degree's, but lately its between 70 - 80 with good humidity. the light is about 6 inches away from the dome 2 4ft florescent lights 1 blue spectrum and one cool white. yes by the time i checked the cubs were dried out so i saturated them with a lil clonex pH-ed water with a lil OJ i ran out of lemons ::shrugs:: its working so-far the girls are looking better now then i left some pH-ed water in the runs.. thanx again ps dont forget to vote

thats too much light for clones (4 ft fluorescent@ 6"-8" away from plant tops)

if you have too much light, the plant is forced into a higher rate of photosynthesis, which will take more water, but you don't have any roots to get the water, so they wilt, or you need a dome to keep the plants turgid (stiff)

move that same light so it's 16"-20" away, and watch them pop back upright.

I use one 27 watt CFL for cuttings, and it's probably 12" away from the tops of the girls.

you can just about clone in the dark, so reduce the amount of light hitting the clones by about 50% and you'll see, you'll have a much better go at this next time.
