I can see where you would feel that given how they behave once in power but actually it is supposed to have more to do with this:

Where ever I have been politicians have vested interests in big business (corporations) or actually own them......and naturally a politician will support his/her own interests once in power....

Family/Corporate clans of politicians and lawyers control the laws that they make which in turn enriches them.....nepotism runs rife throughout many nations political structures....it's all the same whether it's a republican, democrat, liberal, national socialist, socialist, communist or what ever other political dogma some politicians cares to spout....because at the core of it all is power.......and to achieve power it takes money ......and once in power they can all make much more money.......

The so-called western democracies are just as corrupt as the Asian, African, S.American political structures....they may hide it a bit better with advanced spinning of the media to try and convince the non-complacent electorate to vote for them making out that they are morally and civilly on the side of those that can vote, and that they will introduce laws and bills that will make their lives easier.....to me it's just smoke and mirrors....and I don't buy any of it.....why?

Money controls just about everything, and until monetary policy EVERYWHERE is completely revamped, THEN change can come through the changing of the justice system, voting systems, etc.

The Confederate states had EVERY RIGHT to leave the union. Lincoln had the troops STAY, ILLEGALLY, at Ft Sumter knowing that the south would eventually have to fire upon them, "starting" the Civil War. He baited the south. He was a scumbag.

Did you actually read this? Mr. Jones does an excellent job of completely misrepresenting the information in the hopes that you will never actually read the evidence. Despite his grandiose claims, the report never calls Ron Paul supporters terrorists, nor does the report contain any evidence that would substantiate the claim:

Rather than any conspiracy to stifle political opposition, the report is providing law enforcement with data helpful to identify potentially violent groups. Nearly all the examples of past militia activity in Missouri involve the killing of innocent people and general threats to public safety. Yeah, wouldn't want to keep an eye on those types, huh?

As for Ron Paul, it simple states the common political affiliations of these groups in Missouri:

"Militia members most commonly associate with 3rd party political groups. It is not uncommon for militia members to display Constitutional Party, Campaign for Liberty, or Libertarian material.
