Is this turning hermie? (day 35 flower)

Hey, noticed today we have a few plants doing this. It looks like a new bud is growing out of the previous buds, all new with white hairs, on most of the main colas. Its a bubba kush strain, out of 14 its happening to about 6-8, should they be removed or is something else going on?

hard to say without seeing for oneself..... could be stacking i had some bubba do this to me after using a flower enhancer..........

The main cola is starting to look like a crown, a smaller round chute is coming out of the top and about 4-5 around the side of the main cola too. Some of the hairs from the bud before are turned but the new parts are all white.

If this isn't a hermie should we let it keep going longer or pull them at normal time?

alright thanks, it just seemed weird to have new growth like that out of the buds and in such a weird shape

Here is a shot of a herm for you. The radio shack has a $10 magnifer that goes all the way up to 100x it's worth investing in should you get curious what those trichs are like.

could be a heat issue, sometimes that happens when they overheat a little.

not a herm, its a second stage of bud growth - like mini foxtails. this can happen naturally with some strains. as said heat or excess N and P in mid flower can cause this too.

Yeah like VG said, normal growth. Probably a mix of conditions and genetics. I see it often enough that a have a plant label pedigree shorthand for it. BBS, for bubbling bud structure.

are you using h&g shooting powder or gel. this happens after using it. starts the plant forming a new layer of buds. its nothing to worry about, as long as theres no bannas forming. just keep a close eye out for them.
