Ooh, TC, didn't know you had some OD going too! :D:yes:

I've been using Promix the last few yrs, trying to stay organic, but coco's been pulling me for awhile. Bought the A & B canna nutes last yr. along w/ a few Boss blocks, but have yet to go that route.
When I start back up ID, it'll be cocoville.
anyone use the CANNAZYM or BOOST ACCELERATOR?
I'm sure that dude would love to sell 'em to me! :biglaugh:

I use 'em both! Not a huge difference but worth it IMO, Cannazym is good to keep around as a "cure-all" If any root problems occur, nice during transplants also. When using there Cannazym and Rhizotonic, I have never seen roots so healthy, they really keep things below the surface healthy. Still though, not 100% needed.
The Boost is really expensive, but I (as well as other members here) have noticed that it helps speed things along like the uptake of the pk booster, etc. But again.....is it worth the $$$?

I did a bunch of grows with bubbled EJ in promix (one of my favorites but so much work!). I have come to like running the Canna A+B in 70/30 coco/perlite and also supplement in some EJ bloom/catalyst and or Liquid Budswel/molasses in the last few weeks before flush.
A little trick I learned from Crazy Composer a while back; Chem nutes for the bulk of the grow and then a quick switch to organic liquids for a few weeks pre-flush. Some people will call bullshit, and I'm no pro, but I do notice a quality difference. Just my 2cents.
So many good ways to grow, I just wanna find the balance of low maintenance and quality!!!!

BioBoost is expensive. I foliar at 40 mil per gallon. like day 15-20 to 55. if i keep spraying it after 55, i keep getting new pistol development, an it seems the plant never wants to finish. If a plant seems to be lagging behind, the foliar BB slams them into over drive( unless theres some drastic imbalance somewhere, not a cure all)

Foliar is the way to go, more bang for the buck. Bottle lasts me a few months.

Running rhizo in a diy aero sprayer system an you'll see the results, roots start fish boneing everywhere. amazing white lateral root development.

Because of the lateral development, i would put some money where the mouth is an maybe even claim it is possible to really increase your root development, maybe even 100%. Because of this lateral development of roots. Atleast from what i have witnessed. Its Not needed to grow, but when roots are bare an exposed, its night to day comparison. an after all, you cant have a healthy productive plant without healthy roots. Just my 2 cents there for what its worth...

an the then the microscopic root hairs is intense when in coco or soil. at the first glance one would think its fungus.

Thou i think one could do just as good results when addding EWC an mycorhize to the mix too. i put hem both in a mesh bag that floats around the rez. My roots stay nice an healthy till late bloom. Then that little bit of water left from the last flood starts havoc on the roots late bloom. Would really like to get a bucket that could drain 100%.

I started to run the cannzyme again 5 mil per gallon throughout. i reuse my hydroton, an it seems to help alot with making the dead root decay faster. theres also some barley wine extracts, from pond treatments, that plays the same roll, been adding that. An 5 mill treats like 5o gallons. been adding that in the mix as well. things seem to be happy, so im gonna keep it in the mix. I run a zyme product, whether hygrozyme or cannazyme, roots seem happier. an when roots start to decay an root, its probably too late already. the zyme products seem to delay that from happening 95% of the time. system dependit.

Zen , im a firm believer in synthetic/chem nutes an organic additives to my hydro system. Notice an increase in quality as well. check my ebb & flo to ebb an grow thread, pics can speak for themselves, atleast most of the time anyways

On another note, not one i like to bring up, an it may backfire for saying this, i was near the TV an the news was on, i never watch the news, an long behold it turns out TG from here got nailed. Watch out people...an hope him the best.

Shit Gman, do you mean That Guy? I was wondering where he was at, I haven't seen him around any of the forums. Sad news, I hope he makes out ok.

VOMIT!!! What a shame to hear that, I know he hasn't been on the forums for awhile, the last time I chatted with him was around last Nov over at Open Grow....I reckon they may have caught him out in that swamp he used to grow in.... hope they don't bust his balls too badly but Ct is a whole different ball game than Mass or RI, the place gives me nightmares from the 4yrs I spent there against my will. Thanks for the info G-man, I hope we get to hear more about the details later...on another more pleasant note and this is one for G-man as well, underneath all my other Larrys and KF was my crazy SSH, it's day 75 and they're coming down in about 10 min. This whole ridiculous grow was in large part the result of adding vertical bulbs and adding silica to the mix to increase mite resistance.I've never had so much weed from a summer indoor grow, I know I shouldn't complain but it's been taking up so much of my time!!!

Rudedewd u'd be correct. Didint want to drop his name incase there maybe any photo evidence. Apperently he had plants in his yard, then a pipe in plain site thru the window. Wish him the best...

chaco, thats whats im talking about. Those are looking grade A. Did you noitce how heavy the same cut can get when adding silica??? My stems are no longer hollow either. Big addition in my eyes to a hydro regime. Seen such a more solid framework on the plant all arround. Amazing... After all dirt has high amounts of silica, it only makes sense to add it to hydro. the plants been evolving in soil for millions of years or however long.

Thats actually a good question, how long has cannabis been arround ? Beside them finding it in tombs in egypt....

chaco Looks like that ssh has some nice trich coverage. Real nice. snowstorm/purple max have to do anything with that purpling ? Cant imagine it was cool temps that purpled things up.

How are those mites doing.?? 5 months here an none spotted. Knock on wood....

Chaco, love the use of the nikon. crisp!

I got curious and googled N.E. mj busts. Man, there's some stupidity out there! Nothing vibed w/ me, so I did Ct pot busts search. Found it. Noise complaint. I know I've said this before; never have a plant OD on yer property when you got an ID OP going. :bashhead:
Wishing him the best.

Great day for OD, buds growing before my eyes!

I also had to agree with everyone. Paul at Liquid Sun in Pawtucket is a douche. I just had to switch from Canna to H and G. I just got so sick of his attitude. He told me I had to realize "he's the man." He was always in a bad mood. I'll let you know how the Van de Zwaan works out.

in case you all don't know, there is a new grow shop
in Warwick, on Post Road across the street and one
block deeper into Warwick from where the Ethnic
Concepts used to be.

coming from Elmwood turn right onto Post and go about
4 blocks up and look to the left side of the street.

i haven't been in yet but InPotITrust and i have been
planning on a visit soon.

anyway, sorry to hear about TG, hope things work out
for him and his lady, good people both. (although he
should have been smart enough to not have any plants
in the back yard!)

peace, and stay safe, SOG

Well ya' know I never show the pics of my "epic failures".....but I certainly appreciate the kind words, especially after I've been cleaning up for days on end, I cut the last SSH bud yesterday and what a relief, it makes clean up and re-organization seem like a cakewalk....I know some of you folks had a Nevilles haze cut awhile back, I just put 6 NH seedlings into flower. I'm planning on using the males for pollen and the females for smoke, it's blind faith in Mr Nice quality, I've never grown a bad or even a mediocre plant from a MNS pack so I'm running the pollen onto all my cuts and I'll just keep the ecsd and chem D intact just to make my life easier. Great to see everybody coming back around, always nice to have the whole "support group" here!!:)

Thanks Highlighter! Was an accidental cross that happened last winter. I acquired a cut of an Afghan Kush that was driven up from New York. This cut was accidentally pollinated by a Ceres Skunk #1 female that threw few nanners. Grew out the seeds for fun and got a nice female that is vigorous and yields well. golf ball nugs that are hard as rocks. finishes in 50 days.

Anyone going to Hempfest in Boston today? I'm gonna check it out with my buddy. Will be cool to walk around and smoke and only have to worry about a ticket.

And so it begins...

And so it begins...

Chaco, those SSH look great. Silver indeed.

HL, we need some wide shots of that lady! :)

TC, I like how that SS came about. She's quite photogenic.

First round of dudes are about to do their thing. Two Chemdawg Sour Diesel's. Out of a 10 pack got 8 popped and ended up with a 6-2 split female to male. Thought it was 3 guys, one was taking considerably longer to show sex so I put him with the other two thinking it was a guy based on some early pre-flowers. She's finally turned her gears around with the drop in heat and spit a couple white hairs out yesterday.

I was gonna leave her in the chamber and let her get blasted but she's a good week to two weeks behind the dudes in overall flower development so it seemed too early to really be worth it. Might toss her back in in a few weeks or just selectively brush a couple branches.

Chaco, I mentioned to ya back in the free yer buds thread about another Super Skunk I had. I've already put up some shots of the indica-dom pheno, here's the sativa leaner. Waiting on the chop to get a smoke report in and she where she ranks.

Any Hempfest stories?

Awright rasputin! Let 'em fly! :D

Was a busy weekend for me. I did a reclamation project on some stockade fencing. Tore down, moved and put it up.
Dug a couple of holes, moved the plants, and sunk the pots in the holes.
Plan to build a cover but it looks like a wk. of nice weather, so no rush. :D

Things sure went south for the Pats in the 3rd qtr when I got in to watch. Hate losing to the jets.
