Found these tonight under microscope. My suspicions were correct.

My plan:
Attack with neem and Diatomaceous earth until I can afford spinosad.

Spinosad will indeed destroy them completely. Its not expensive man, are you in college or something?

Shit I have a bunch of Monterrey laying around....

Spinosad didn't do shit for my trips. bayer tree & shrub is imidacloprid 1.47%. Foliar spray mixed at 1 ml per gallon, mixed with DM Saturator at 30ml/g. They came back 3 weeks later, so that's how long its effective. Do your last spray at week 5 next time and its smooth sailing til harvest.

Kill it with fire!!!!

I hear nicotine juice is a great pesticide...

Hey man fuckin thrips gotta eat too bro!

Unfortunately for them, I am higher on the food chain and they are not only eating, but destroying and threaten to do much more destruction.

I'd offer them a compromise..

but..

They seem to be ignoring my plea for negotiation.

That's okay, JamieShoes. I'm feeling medicated, so I thought it was funny. :)

I am going to search for local biological control. Possibly Neem dunk and D.E. at the soil layer.

Ladybugs are your answer for adult thrips, trust me. :canabis:

I didn't want to say it before but you forced my hand. Ladybugs will redeem you. ;)

Or Amblyseius Cucumeris, or Pirate Bugs google it.

Ladybugs in a room with unsealed hoods will commit suicide very quickly and stink up the place with their smoldering carcasses.

This is very true Lazyman, they are quite depressed little bugs and it's just so sad to see them go even with their spotty reputations. ;)
