this is my afghani ( indica )

she is just now showing sex ( obviously a girl )

the flowering time is 7 - 9 weeks

so at the longest of 9 weeks

i would be looking at the first week of nov to harvest ...

i dont know if anyone here is on my side of the u.s ( N.C )

but is that ample time to fully finish ?

im asking cause imo i think that its a pretty late start

since she just showed me who she was ...

Only one way to find out! I suggest taking a few cuttings for clones just in case. Can you at least keep a mom alive indoors until next season? Or better yet, flower some clones inside!

i have taken one cutting from her ,

but thats it ,

i dont have alot of room nor enough light to grow a bunch of plants ,

im lucky if i can grow 2 at a time in my little area with my 150w hps

also im really hoping that she will finish cause iv NEVER have had any good smoke before ( always been just regular weed )

you know the $25 quarter bags with alot of seeds

this will be my first time smoking something that i only here people talk about lol

I wouldn't say you've got ample time and plants don't grow as fast with unusually cool temps . If you started today, with some plastic and some luck you might see it finish. Don't use the plastic if you can get away with it. Mold will ruin yer crop as bad as a hard frost. If you have to use plastic, make sure it's draped high and wide. You don't want the plastic to touch the plant.

Try to keep an eye on advanced weather forcasts that predict frost. Frost can occur as warm as 38*f. A light frost might not hurt but a hard frost could kill your plant. Not much you can do about freezing weather, plastic only goes so far.

a 150hps is good for a qp or better if dialed in.

its been in the upper 80`s everyday this week so far ,

and in the mid 60`s at night ,

their was one night when it got down to about 58 -59 degree's

but thats as low as it has gotten here at night so far ...

do you think with those temps it will be ok ?

i know it will eventually start getting colder here ,

probably in the next few weeks the temp will start changing to the colder temps..

if she dont have time to finish will it hurt her to bad if i had to harvest her early ?

how much damage would i be looking at ?

Those temps are fine-- If it starts getting down to the low 40's at night, just bring it inside for the dark period...keep it from freezing-- Then just put it back out in the morn--

its a lost cause though ,

i went out their today and it had nut sacs all over it ,

i really thought he was gonna be a she due to some white hairs that was on a lower node ,

well all i can do is start over and do a small grow under my 150w hps ,

i have one plant still that i planted in mid aug and its on a 12/12 cycle right now ,

i just hope it turns out to be female...

U should be OK I grew Sativa's till December in Mississippi. It may have some cool nights on the buds but I love for it to frost on the buds good luck
